Puppy mills and puppy farms are two words that mean the same thing. They are dog breeding facilities with very quick breeding and poor consciousness. The owner of these “farms” ignored all signs of the dog's health, and only worried about the money. The mother dogs are put in small cages and only get to come out when it’s time to breed and have puppies. When the mother or father dog is no longer able to produce puppies they then abandon or even kill them.
10,000 puppy mills are active in the United States, and seem to be not stopping anytime soon. It's actually legal to have a puppy mill. In most states kennel breeding is fine and you're allowed to keep dozens of dogs in cages. Even if the conditions are bad, as long as you feed and water them it's fine.
I personally think puppy mills should be banned because it's cruel to the dogs. It’s not okay to leave multiple dogs in small cages for 95% of their life. Most of the time the dogs aren't very healthy either. These people only care about money. In their eyes the dogs are objects and only used for profit. It's not fair to the animals either because they just kill or abandon them when they can't have puppies anymore.

Good topic choice and very sad! I do think you could have expanded a bit and showing pictures or a link to a video showing the conditions of these puppy mills would have really driven the point home as to how they are not good. You only replied two times and commenting is worth 30 points.
I do think that puppy mills should be banned because of how cruel they are. I don't agree with them at all. It's so horrible that we think it's okay to keep animals like that. I don't think I would buy a dog from them because I don't want to give them my money for something horrible they did.
puppy mills should be banned beacause of how much of their life is being wasted there. All dogs deserve to have a good life and not a life that is being used for mating. People who run these mills have a good busniess going for them, but its just horible how the dogs are treated.
I agree that puppy mills should be banned because if they don't worry about the health of the dog that is cruel and unfair. I think that if they slowed down the breeding fo the dogs and checked the health before another set of puppies is fine, but If they are gonna continue the way that they are now they should definitely be banned.
Yes puppy mills should be banned. There are no pros to Puppy mills they are bad for the dog and the puppies that are born. The dogs are just breeded over and over again. Most people make money by selling the dogs because the buyers don't know that its a puppy mill and just think that its a cute dog and they by it.
Yes, puppy mills should be banned. I think that the rapid production of puppies and the lack of care for them is terrible, I would never suport a puppy mill and put any of my money into one.. I disagree with them and think that this process should be taken down and anyone that has taken place and worked with them should be charged with animal abuse.

Yes, I believe puppy mills should be banned since they are very cruel and inhuman. I do not agree with puppy mills at all. The only reason I would buy a puppy from a puppy mill would be to get that puppy out of there and make sure the puppy was healthy and well cared for.
I do not agree with puppy mills. I think they should be banned. I don't think that I would ever buy a puppy from a puppy mill due to the fact that I would be giving money to something I don't support.
