As of right now the minimum wage for workers across the United States is 7.25. Many people believe that the minimum wage should be raised to around $10.00, while some people believe that it should be raised to $15.00 an hour. Not all states follow the federal minimum wage. States such as Arizona and Alaska have changed the minimum wage. Alaska's minimum wage is at $10.34 and Arizonas is at $12.15. Many states still follow the federal minimum wage. 21 states still have the federal minimum wage of $7.25 an hour. Many states do not believe in only paying the average worker minimum wage.
I personally believe that it would be ok if the minimum wage was raised to something like 9 or 10 dollars an hour. I think it would be ridiculous if it was raised to something like $15 an hour. Many businesses would struggle if they had to pay all of their workers $15 an hour. Then you would have to make it fair by raising other workers wages to make it fair. I also think it would be ok if they raised it just a little because you can not make a living by making just $7.25 an hour. There is no way you would be able to live a decent life. I think it would be ok if they just raised it by a few dollars and kept it at something realistic. I do not think that it is realistic for them to raise it to something like 15 or 16 bucks an hour because many businesses, mainly small businesses, would probably go under and not be able to continue doing what they were doing.

I agree. I think that we need to raise it slowly so inflation doesn't completely ruin this country. I blelieve that it would be a good idea to raise it to 9 or 10 dollars. I also agree with you that raising the minimum wage would hurt many small businesses very badly.
I think the minimum wage should be ranged by a little bit. In Germany for example is the minimum wage by 9,50 and it did not cause a high inflation. Of course the raise should happen over months so inflation is not too high. I think 9 dollar would be a good minimum wage.
I agree that it needs to be done at a certain amount instead of just rasing it a bunch.
I think that the minimum wage should be increasee because prices for everything are going up and pretty soon people are not gonna have enough moeny to buy food or anything. I think it should raise like a couple dollars not too much though otherwise some businesses wouldn't be able to afford that.

I definately think minimum wage should be raised mainly because of inflation in the economy. prices are rising and the minimum wage is staying the same and paying for things is becoming more of a challenge. I think that a lot of businesses are starting their pay off at 10-12 an hour now because of this and to get people working again. However there are others that have not raised the starting pay from 7.25 and those employees are being effected greatly.
I think that minimim wage should not be rasied at all, because alot of small business could not afford to pay teens 10-15 dollars and hour.

I think that minimum wage should be raised because of our economy and things are getting more expensive. I think that the minimum wage should be 10-15$ per hour. And if you don't waste your money and invest a little part you could live from that money.
I believe minimum wage should be raised because of our constantly-growing economy. Inflation is unstoppable, so I feel like raising the minimum wage to possibly $10 or $12 would be a great impact for the financial world.
