With 18 states legalizing recreational Marijuana, should the other 32 follow suit? In a survey conducted in April 2021, 91% of U.S adults agreed that Marijuana should be legal for recreational and medical purposes. In the same survey 60% of those people agreed it should be legal for only medical use. Fewer than one in ten believed Marijuana should not be used by adults for any reason. Over the last 20 years the number of supporters for legalization has more than doubled. People of all ages were included in the survey and 32% of the 75+ age group said to legalize Marijuana. 70% of the 18-29 age group say it should legal for recreational and medical while only 4% say it should not be.
I think Marijuana should be legal for recreational and medical purposes. It could be taxed and bring more money into the state. For the recreational use buisnesses could add a higher tax, but for the medical use add a lower tax.
Do you think Marijuana should be legal?
Do you think they should tax higher if it's recreational use?

Marijuana should definitely be legal in a similar way that alcohol is legal. If sold for recitations use, it should only be taxed a little more than an average product.
The netherlands for example legalized it and on this way there are less dealers and less bad marijhuana. They call it coffe shops and you are only allowed to consume it their which works pretty good. Coffee shops test the marijhuana which causes less risico for consumers. People are finding their ways to take it anyways. This is a good way to legalize it with rules.
I think that medical marijuana should be legal. It has been proven to drastically improve the quality of life with people who have various conditions such as epilepsy. Medical marijuana also help control the negative side affects of chemotherapy as well as improving appetite in these patients, it can also reduce anxiety and inflammation.
I mean there is worst things in life than legalizing cannabis. I think that its just one of those issues that doesn't affect me so it doesn't reallt bother me. I understand the science behind it being used for medicinal purposes but I definetly agree if it is used for recreational purposes the tax on it should be drastically higher.
I think that the legalization of Marijuana is super horrible, but it seems that the cons over way the pros. Although Marijuana is seen used in many positive ways, it is often more seen in negative ways. I believe that legalizing Marijuana could cause some problems, but solve some. Therefore I don't really care much.
I think that marijuana shouldn't be leagal because of the effects it can have on people, even though it could bring in alot of money for states. I think that even if it was legal that the tax should be high to make money for the states and to also prevent people that shouldn't have it from having it.
I do not think that marijuana should be legalized because it will be miss used and bad things will happen. Just take a look I'm at the people who take marijuana today. It's not pretty. The taxation on marijuana should be pretty high because it is not good.
I think that marijuana being legalized isn't the worst thing ever. I think it could help some people that are in pain I think it could help with a lot of poeples medical problems. I do not really care though if it would get legalized and i do not thinkk they should tax higher.
I think it should be legal. I think that only for medical reasons. Sometimes its very helpful for some people with medical problems. I think that doctors should only have use to it and can give it to people who need it.
I think marijuana being legal wouldn't be the worst thing. If alcohol, that can kill you, is legal why can't marijuana, that can't kill you, be legal. It has good benefits for many people. I understand the issue of people having it in their system at work. So we should do more testing for occupations so people aren't high at work.
