I believe it shouldn’t be because if you kneel for the national anthem you are disrespecting the men and women who served in the military. Donald Trump states in USA Today that “Any time I witness a player kneeling during the National Anthem, a sign of great disrespect for our Country and our Flag, the game is over for me!”
I don’t think you should be arrested for this but you should be ashamed of yourself because you are disrespecting the US. I think it is your own choice unless the football team has a policy about kneeling for the national anthem.
This is Collin Kaepernick he was the first NFL football player to kneel during the national anthem. I think he should be ashamed of himself for starting this protesting of kneeling in football. (one on the right is him)

I dont think it should be allowed in the game if they want to dishonor their country they can do it on their own time. Kneeling has nothing to do with black equality and is just disrepectful twords the flag and america. Its a good form of peacefull protest but should not take place when their on the feild playing for the team not themselves.
i think it should be allowed as they arent really dissrespecting any veterans but they are not happy that some things arent getting fixed by the government. collin stated "I am not going to stand up to show pride in a flag for a country that oppresses black people and people of color" and not to offend anyone but i agree theres still alot of hate towards people of color even though we are all made the same but we just have diffrent skin tone.
I think it should not be allow to kneel and it should be a fine and that person should miss a few games. I think it's very disrespectful to the flag and Americans and people should just stand up so they don't get into drama like this. People should be punished for kneeling so that this does not happen.
I agree with you Caleb I don't think that they should be allowed to kneel because it is disrespecting the millions of people that fought for there freedom but they can't stand for a 3 minute song that honors America and the ones that fought for our freedom.
I don't think that kneeling should be allowed because it is disrespect to our troops and to the flag. People are hurting other people in the armed forces. This is wrong because people risked their lives for others. I would never kneel during the national anthem considering some of my family served.
Honestly, I don't think this is polite. Others are going to want to do it though. I believe it's like freedom of speech, but still direspectful. My thoughts on this are don't do it because it's disrespectful. However, if you do choose to do it then it's your choice. Think about the veterans that died for you and now you're kneeling and direspecting them. This is more of shame on you than trying to say it's not allowed.
Kneeling should definitely not be allowed because like you said, it is disrespecting not only the flag, but the poeple that fought for them to be able to be able to even get the option to kneel. We, citizens of the United States, have the freedom of speech, and kneeling during the national anthem is a way for some people to say that they are upset about something, so they are going to protest. When a person kneels, they are not doing it out of disrespect towards American veterans, but towards the governemnt, or something in the US that wronged someone/something. I understand if a football team would not allow their players to do this, because it is their choice and they are in charge, bu if they let the players decide what they do, they should be able to if they want.
I have to disagree with you, why should the players be kneeling for the flag. If they have a problem with the government, they should find a different way to voice that opinion. It does show disrespect towards the veterans that fought for America.
