Human cloning as of right now is not banned in the United States. There is a ton of debate whether human cloning should be banned. There is 2 types of cloning right now. There is therapeutic and reproductive cloning. Therapeutic cloning is cloning of the embryo and made for producing the stem cell. The stem cells are used for experimenting diseases. The Reproductive cloning is when they clone the embryo for implantation. Basically they take the skin cell and try to copy it. Some say this should be banned and others say it shouldn't.
Some of the reasons people think we shouldn't ban it is so they can produce embryotic stem cells in large quantities. Another reason is so that they can alter animals to produce organisms that can easily transplanted into humans. The next reason why is so that parents can have babies without reproducing together. The last reason why is so that they can have growth replacement human organ tissue from scratch.
The reasons why should not are obvious. First of all it is not been purified by scientists yet and it could lead to serious health problems. I believe that it should be illegal at least until it has been purified by scientist.

Great topci choice Tela! I do think your summary is a tad brief and things could have been explained a bit better. You did a great job replying on the first two pages but only one comment on the last three pages. Spread those out.
For my opinion I don't think its safe, it may seem useful in a way but it could maybe hurt somebody in a way. Doing too much of it could cause problems and some issues.
I dont think it should be banned because you never know when we might use/need it. The only reason I would want it banned would be because of the fact that it's not 100% safe yet. Once it becomes safe I see no reasons to get rid of it as it might be useful at times. As of now I wouldnt clone anybody because I dont know what could happen if it goes wrong or something like that.

I don't think it should be banned because there are times where cloning could be used. I think it should just be limited, and only used for important reasons. I don't think it should be done more than once because it isn't necessary and it could be used for better purposes.

No I think that it might help us because of therapeutic cloning which can help see what type of diseases affect us the most and help us how to fight them. I don't know if I would clone someone because I don't know much about it and how it works. I think that if doctors and scientist think it's a good idea then I think that cloning should be allowed and not banned.
