Too much homework can also take away student's leisure time and could end up making students not get enough sleep. "Children need free time. You did two forum posts this week? Well i will give you extra credit for this one. Same issues as my comment in the other post-brief and be sure to keep commenting.
I think that homework can benefit students in many ways in my opinion. For instance it teaches responsibility for many kids. Plus it can also help students learn better and applying the knowledge they learned in class to work outside of class. I personally think that homework is beneficial.
I think that homework is good for the teaching of responsibility to students. Dedicating your time to working hard on your school work and working harder on educating yourself to become a better person. Responsibility and discipline are arguably the most important qualities to have.
I don't think homework should be a thing because there are so many kids whonplay sports and dont get out of practice untill 6 or 7 then they go home and eat supper by then its 8 or 9 and if you stay up late doing homework your not giving your body the amount of care it needs.
I personally think school work should be done during school and not outside of school. Many people have busy schedules and jobs after school wich make homework way more stressful,
I think that teachers give out to much homework because they think that other teachers dont give us any homework. However, if we don't have homework than we wouldn't have thing to put in the grade book
I think that teachers shouldn't assign lots of homework just to be done by the next day. However, if you don't do your work in class, I think that the teachers have no choice other than to assign it as homework.
I think that homework is not something that needs to be given out daily. To me, the only reasonable form of homework would be A. optional extra practice to do at home. Or B. school work that could have gotten done in the class time that was provided.
I think that some homework is ok, but when their is a lot of homework it cna cause sleep problems, stress, and other bad things. I think that we should have some more free time after school.
I personally think that homework should not exist because people have jobs and they want to spend time with family and friends. But when your teachers pile you up with homework you will be in your room for hours trying to get things done then by the time your almost done its like midnight didnt get to talk to your parents or anyone and then you have some homework in the morning. You get upset because your teachers yelling at you cause that was the only thing you didnt get and its early in the morning.
