I believe that homework should be banned. It’s not that I just hate doing homework. I believe that we have seven hours a day in school to learn everything that needs to be learned. I think it is just as important for students to have time at home to enjoy their evenings. It is also difficult for student athletes to balance homework and sports. This may cause problems in the number of students that are participating in extracurricular activities because students don't want to fall behind on their work.
Homework leaves no time for kids to work on their social skills. While students could be hanging out with friends, they are inside doing their homework. Homework also stresses students out more than it provides benefits. When the student is stressed about homework the less they will want to be involved with work at school. If students become stressed about homework, that will eventually correlate with their thoughts of school.
Personally, I don’t agree with homework. I could use my time after school to work on other things such as working on vehicles or mowing the lawn. Some can even argue that they learn more at home than they do at school. I personally don’t agree with homework. I understand the reason behind homework but as a kid, I feel like it keeps us from reaching our full potential. I feel that students would be better off learning social skills while they are at home than learning the same stuff that we sat in a building for 7 hours to learn.

I hate homework. I dread coming home after being at school for eight hours just to do two more hours of homework. If I want to even do something I have to plan ahead. Homework interferes with all the other activities that I have going on that it's just so unecessary. Sometimes I don't even go to bed until 12 because i have to do homework.
Personally, homework is another stress factor in a students life. I despise it. Homework after school seems stressful, and something I have to worry about finding time to complete it. I believe that banning homework is quite impossible, but I think that decreasing the amount that is given could be benifical. It is one less factor a busy student has to worry about.
While I'm not completely sure if I think homework should be completely banned, I do think that it sometimes doesn't help as much as teachers think it does. Like some other people have mentioned, a lot of students find ways to cheat and/or have someone else do it for them. At the same time, homework can sometimes be helpfu for students who actually do it.
I personally don't like homework all that much because of how long it takes to do now woth the shorter classes. Homework for me doesn't interfere with my life after school because most of the time I don't start working on it untill aroun 9. I think that schools should go 4 weeks without giving homework and see if it benefits students and not.
I personally dont really like homework and I dont think that anyone really like homework so yeah. but I dont like it because kinda stress me out like when I have football and then I have to go home and it really just drages down my mood to be honest.
I really don't like homework, and it really does effect my after school life because I am in football and I don't really have time. Well banning homework wouldn't be the best because it sometimes helps you learn a little bit more about whatever is on the homework.
I think it really is not beneficial to have homework. Most of the time people are cheating and having people do their homework for them. If we are at school for 8 hours why do we need to keep doing work at home for extended hours? Getting kids more involved should be pushed more than homework.
I agree with you, Its not beneficial, whatever you do in class should be able to be done in class. Yes, most people do cheat just to get it done on time. No ones really learning anything outside of clase.

I personally don't like doing homework, except math and history but I do think it should be banned. I'm not in any sports of extraculiar activities and it's even hard for me to keep up with it, but to be fair I do procrastinate a lot. I don't think homework would actually interfere with my life outside of school if I did do it during study hall. But sometimes you just need a break and can't do 7 hours of work straight. It's especially hard for students who procrastinate, have depression, adhd, etc. to keep up with their work.
