Health care is something that all people need starting from when they're first born. The United States has already given some citizens universal health care but the Government is working on expanding it to everyone. The Government wants to use a national health insurance, this will use public insurance to pay for private practice insurance. If this idea does go though it will make it so that every citizen has to pay into the national insurance plan. Another idea that the Government had was making it so that wealthier families would have more money taken out of their taxes to pay for higher medical bills that some families can't afford. The Government can always lower the medical costs but they would rather leave it the way it is.
Medicare is the medical insurance that people 65 and older or younger people with disablilites use. Medicad provides health insurance for eligible low-income adults, children, pregnant women, elderly adults and people with disabilities. Many people think that if the Government can provide universal health care for up to 50% of the population, they should be able to provide it for everyone. To provide universal health care for low-income individuals, children in need, and military members the Government has to use the Affordable Care Act (ACA) which gives Americans access to affordable health care and gives coverage to for their certain conditions.
Universal health care can lower costs and prevent medical bankruptcy. If we used the ACA back in 2020 when covid-19 first started, we could've saved $438 billion. Some families can't afford America's high medical bill prices, so when they see how much they are being charged for it can be quite overwhelming. If we did have free health care, there is no guarantee that it would be high quality just because it's cheap.

I don't think health care should be free, If health care were free the government would make a lot less money than they are right now. I do not think the wealthier families should pay for other people's medicals that they don't even know. I think the if a family is struggling the government could give them an amount of time where they have healthcare until they can pay it off.
I believe that health care shouldn't be free, but it should be much cheaper than it is now. I feel that wealthy families shouldn't have to pay for other people's medical bills, but some of their taxes they pay can go towards that. I think that health care prices are not very reasonable and should be lowered.
I don't think health care should be free, because how would the government get wealthier people to pay more than poor people. I think the poor and wealthy should have to pay the same amounts of money. I don't really know how expensive health care is because my parents pay for all of it.
Healthcare should only be free on certain occasions like if you are on the edge of death and are barely living. I don't believe that other wealthier families should have to pay for other people's medical bills if they don't even know them or related to them. That is like stealing money from someone that doesn't even know is being stolen from them. I think some of them are reasonable prices but some may not be.
I think it should be free depending on the situation, if it is urgent of course it should be free, but if it is not I think we should pay for it but it should not be expensive. I think they are reasonable, or at least most of them, and those that are not, I suppose there is a reason for that, mostly it is because of some product/ingredient/chemical that it has.
I don't think that care should be free, it could be more accessible but not free because it is a very hard job so I understand that it is very expensive but I still think it is too much. Rich families could cover some of the expenses only if they want of course, but not completely.
