Dogfighting, a so-called form of entertainment. It’s an inhumane sport, where dogs are bred to fight other dogs. People would place two dogs in a pit. Then the spectators would take bets on what dog would win. The fights would last 1 to 2 hours long until one of the dogs can’t continue. Dog fighting is a felony in all 50 states, but yet people still do it. About 40,000 people are involved it dog fights each year.
Dogfighting is very abusive, but the abuse doesn't stop there. The dogs are normally kept in bad shape. They have lots of injuries and are not often brought into the vet. The dogs are more likely to be kept in small cages. Only taken out to enter the fighting pit. There are estimated to be 16,000 deaths due to dogfighting. Not only is it abusive, but it also gives dogs bad reputations. Certains types of dogs often seem more aggressive and feared from the breed's reputations. These reputations are caused by dog fighting.
I personally think that dog fighting should and remain banned in all 5o states. I wouldn’t even think of it as a form of entertainment, it's just wrong. I don’t understand why people would pay to watch dogs fight and die. I think that anyone that partakes in this inhumane “sport” should be punished.

Great topic choice Teya! I don;'t think this one has been done before either. I do think you could have expanded a bit more on actual laws on this topic and which states still allow it. Be sure to comment more. You were lucky you got up eatly this morning a replied a few times. You were a bit late as it was posted during class on Monday.
In my opinion I think that dog fighting should be banned because it's all because people want money. It's putting animals in danger. I don't see why people would enjoy seeing their pet get into fight just for their benefit.
I think that these fights should be banned because what is the purpose for it besides money. If you lose a fight your dog might get killed and you might lose some money too. I would never spend my money for that.
I think that dog fighting is seen as wrong. It is obviously also illegal in all fifty states, as well as many other countries. However, people don't go out of their way to stop dog fights from happeneing, and there is not enough being done to prevent from breeding dogs for dog fights and dog fights in general from occuring.
I would never partake in a dog fight its all just wrong. Also yes i do think it should be banned because its just causing sadness to most people.I would not spend any money on dog fights because it just isnt a good thing.
I would not watch a dog fight or ever spend my money on one. i think it should remain illegal and anyone involved in a dog fight wether or not they are forcing the dogs to fight should be punished.
I would not partake in the dogfighting I feel that it is cruel and unneeded. I think It should be banned but I don't think banning it will do anything to stop it. I would not spend money on this for betting or anything of the such.

I believe that dog fighting should stay illegal. I don't think breeding any animal just to fight is very fair to the animal or entertaining. I really don't understand why anybody would even think about doing this sort of stuff. Hopefully it remains a bad thing in society and should be known.
I wouldn't partake in dog fighting because I hate seeing dogs be trained and hurt just to fight another breed, I definitetly think it should be banned and I would never spend money on a dog fight unless I know for sure that ill be winning some money back you know what im saying cuh?
