There are already several countries in Europe, such as Amsterdam, that have accepted marijuana as a "soft" drug, different from other more dangerous ones like Cocaine. It has even been attributed various therapeutic properties. Many others, however, think that the use of marijuana should be prohibited, given the mental interference and behavioral disturbances it produces.
The most serious problem is addiction, especially for adolescents due to the significant risk of creating psychotic symptoms or having schizophrenia, which can become permanent, while its consumption during pregnancy damages the brain development of the fetus in a similar way to what alcohol does in fetal alcohol syndrome.
Scientific research also indicates that when smoking its leaves, bronchial damage is produced, even more serious than with tobacco, including lung cancer. For all this, marijuana should be illegal but, you also have to see the arguments of many people who are in favor, such as the reduction in crime, mafias and black market that there would be, the increase in economic income, and the help that is given. many times to people with cander (medical marijuana).
Personally I believe that marijuana should NOT be legal, but I understand that there are many people who believe that it is, and I respect that although I do not think it will ever be legalized.

I don't think that it should be made llegal for any uses other than it being prescribed by a doctor. I think that if it isn't prescribed through a doctor it leads to more crime, which makes the country more dangerous than it is with it being illegal. Also I think that things that are illgal should stay illegal.
I think that marijuana should be legal for medicinal uses ONLY. It shouldn't be legal for everyone because people that don't need could very well misuse it, such as addiction. However; the people that have medical problems that could be helped my marijuana should be able to use it.
No I do not think that marijuana should be legal. The addiction and bad decisions it causes is terrible. It will cause so much more risk in our world if legalized. I think it is good for medical use but besides that it shouldn't be used.
I do not think that marijuana should be legal. I think this because the legalization of marijuana could cause more people to get in motor accidents. People already operate while under the influence and this leads to many accidents and innocent people being injured or killed. Although people use marijuana as a "stress reliever" I do not think it should be legal.
I do not think it should be made legal. While it can help in certain things like for medical reasons, if it were made legal people would abuse this and it would ultimately cause more damage than help. While it helps medical issues, it also causes them if used abusively.
I think that weed can be pretty harmless but people can abuse it. There are a lot of other problems that can come from it being legal such as driving while high. This could cause an increase in car crashes. On the other hand weed can help a lot of people with anxioty, stress, cancer, ect. Marijuana should be illegal for many reasons. It could be detrimental to some teenagers as a very addicting part of there lives. If there is a possibly that it could boost our economic income then it should be illegalized all together. Unless there was perscribed medical marijuana.

I think making marijuana legal would just cause more problems. I think people would not follow the laws. This could lead to even more drug problems in the United States. I do not think marijuana should be legalized. There are a lot of cons such as people could get addicted to it especially if it was legal because there is already a lot of people that use it illegally. There is one pro if marijuana was legalized it would help in medical such as relieving pain.
