Shelby Firefighter Killed

            I heard about this story and it really hit home because my dad is the Kimbalton fire chief... Michael Collins had been on the Shelby Fire Dept. for 2 years. Sunday night he had a call that there was a women hurt in a crash on I-80. While he was directing traffic for the crash, another driver came up too fast on the slowing traffic and moved into the other lane, hitting Michael. Now there is a bogus telamarketer that is asking for credit card numbers for the Collins family..but is really just using the money for himself! How low is that! Who would even think of doing something that horrible?

i heard about the telamarketer! that makes me so mad!!! people can be so heartless!!! and it hit home with me to because my dad and brother are on the Harlan Fire Dept.

People these days. They can't work hard to make money all they do is fake a scam so they can make a lot of money. Hopefully they can get it to stop. Prayers go out to his family.

This is so sad. I don't know how anyone would have the nerve to keep the money for themself. He must not know what it is like to have a family member, or a close friend die.
