Scientists find a prehistoric lake

A lake in Antartica has just been found that hasn't been touched since the ice age. Russian researchers were the first to find the lake. It took them 10 years of drilling through solid ice to uncap this water. Nothing has touched the lake for 14 million years.

  • This is real interesting! but how is there water under a ton of ice? i mean wouldn't the water be frozen too?
