Smoke pot? Schwarzenegger says, who cares?

Governor signed law recently making possession of ounce the equivalent of traffic ticket He stated, “no one cares if you smoke a joint.”

The Hollywood actor-turned-governor signed a law five weeks ago that made possession of up to an ounce of marijuana the equivalent of a traffic ticket. It carries a penalty of no more than a $100 fine and no arrest or criminal record.

I am personally against any drugs, but I found this interesting. In my government class, we were talking about how California shouldve made it legal and taxed it alot, this would help with California's debt.

you have to think of both sides. there are people who want it and people who dont. those that do, think of the jobs and the ecionomy becoming stable. those that dont, are more concerned about smelling it all the time and seeing people walking around that are stoned.

oh california. im not sure where i stand on the legalization of marijuana, but if its illegal i think there should more of a punishment for having it

...i'm open-minded... but not that open-minded. On the plus side, maybe people will die faster thus helping get rid of overpopulation.

Pot is not bad for you. I'm pro legalization of marijuana. I think that cigarettes and booze should be illegal before pot is. Because they both kill an enormous amount of people each year and pot hasnt killed one single person.

I will never do drugs but i think this is okay... I know its bad but look at how many people who have been arrested for it. Its caused government and police a lot of trouble.
