There was a school shooting at a high school in Frederick, Maryland. The shooting was during a basketball game and the shots were fired right outside of the gymnasium building. There were two male victims, both rushed to the hospital but not life threatening injuries. The cafeteria was searched and everyone in the gym had to go to there while police checked the rest of the school. The investigation is ongoing and the school is closed for the rest of that week.
I think this is very sad, I can’t imagine having this happen to our school. I wonder if the person that did this wanted to harm someone on the basketball team. It’s weird it didn't happen when school was in session.

They probably had a score to settle with someone on the team.
Honestly, I would be very frightened and probably in shock. To think that someone would do something like that is scary. It would also be really hard to go back to school. I wouldn't feel safe anymore. As for why he did it, I have no idea. People are crazy and do unthinkable things for all sorts of messed up reasons.
It would be a really bad event to happen anywhere, but if it was at our school it would be worse because you would most likely know the victims of the shooting. They could do it as revenge, for fun, or to try and get popular on the news. Nobody will know why for sure unless he says why.

It would be really sad if someone did this at our school. They must of had some type of grudge with the school or something, I don't know why someone would do this during a school event.
I don't think it would matter what time the event happened. If something like this happened at our school, I wouldn't come back until the people were apprehended.
I think it would be very tragic if this happened to our school. It would be hard to feel safe after something like that happens. The person that did that was possibly looking for attention or was having troubles in their own life.
I would be scared. And i dont know why someone would do this. I guess, to get attention. They know that it will be on the news. So, i think it is a form of attention that they want. Otherwise, i dont know.
It would be terrible if it would happen to our school, since what had happened a couple weeks ago. There are pretty stupid people in this world...
