School Lunch: Should it be changed?
School lunch isn’t very good. This is because many schools don't get enough money to be able to change them and make them healthy and appetizing, instead settling for cheap foods so they can pump out school lunches to everyone.
Many people, including myself, say that school lunches are very bad and they don’t serve enough food. With more and more videos going around online of expired milk, undercooked chicken, or literal slop on their trays for lunch, it's beginning to become a problem. Our school has better lunches than some, but they still aren’t great with portion sizes and quality of meals.
There are many things we could do to change this, but most take action. We could allocate more money towards lunches, but less would go to the rest of the school, especially when school lunches are edible and perfectly fine to eat.

I think for how much school lunch costs and the food your get it isnt bad. And theres always the option for you to bring your own lunch to school and have what you like .
I would change the quality of the food if I could. I don't know what my least favorite is but there are a few that I don't like. It would make sense if school lunches costed more if we improve them but I don't think very many poeple would like that.
I defentially think our school lunchs shold be improved, I think lots of schools food, including ours, is not appitising and the very cheap. I do think that more money from the school should go to the lunches. I do have to say the tenderian sandwhich from last year was absolute trash.
I agree, most school food is bland and bad, and we should allocate more money to the lunch system, even if it just upgrades some foods, I think the tenderloin isn't the worst one, I thinkt he orange chicken is the worst lunch because in my opinion it tastes terrible.
There is some stuff that could be changed for the better and that is when it comes to the portion size, how bland it is, and how the food looks. Sometimes the food is good don't get me wrong but then there just isn't enough to fulfill people. Portion size is a big thing to teenagers for if they are trying to gain pounds to compete in sports and they are underweight. My least favorite school lunch would have to be the chicken tenderloin sandwich because the last time they gave it out it was freezer burnt and it was just not appetizing. Yes, school lunches should cost more if we improve them.
I agree. Most of the food is bad, even when it is good there isn't usually enough unless you pay 3 extra dollars just to get an extra entree. I agree and dissagree with the cost increase because poor families couldn't afford the lunch, so if we increased it it wouldn't be by much.
I think school lunch could be improved in many ways, like the portion size. A lot of the lunches aren't big enough to sustain a teenager, since they are growing and need a good amount of food to do so. The quality isn't the greatest either. But if we were to improve the quality, the price would go up.
I feel like the lunches the school provides are mediocore, sometimes they don't taste good, or look appetizing, or the portion sizes are to small, and I think they could definetly be improved. Obviously they would cost more for better quality and portions. I don't have a least favorite lunch beacuse if the lunch doesn't look good then I usually don't eat it.
I agree, the lunches look terrible and they taste bad, and they don't give enough. I think it should cost more but not by a huge amount. I do have a least favorite lunch because I do eat the lunch, and it would have to be the orange chicken for me.
If I had to change the school lunch I would improve the portion sizes and the quality of the food. If we were to do this the cost would go up because you're spending more money to provide more. Obviously school lunch is not great and can be improved apon but some of the options we get are pretty good.
