Say hello to another remake! Al Pacino and Paul Muni have both played the character, and have both done a great job of it, but now Universal, the stuido behind it all, is planning another version, and is one of the few studios who has made three versions of a film. The only other example I can think of is A Star is Born. The first two movies were classic, each with their own generation of stars, both in the 30's and 50's, but then in the 70's, another remake was made, and few people liked it. Is this the doomed fate that Scarface is destined for? Or will it shine out from underneath the other two and be the best of them all? No news yet on possible directors or cast members. And who can replace Al Pacino? Hmm...Thoughts?
