Following the September 21st, 1996 Defense of Marriage Act, 25 states banned same-sex marriage. For as far back as we can go, a larger majority of people(most being religious), have discriminated against the LGBT community. Finally, after far too many years, their voices were heard. On June 26th, 2015, the Supreme Court ruled it constitutional for same-sex couples to be joined in legal marriage. "The Court, in this decision, holds same-sex couples may exercise the fundamental right to marry in all States." - Associate Justice Anthony Kennedy. In my own opinion, they are human. That means, they are indeed entitled to human rights, regardless of whom that may offend.
What are your opinions of same-sex marriage? Do you too find it un-constitutional to ban same-sex marriage?

Interesting topic choice and well done!
I personally am a big supporter of the LGBT community and so a big supporter of same sex marriage! I think it's admirable of the US to legalize it as so many people are against it and seeing gay/lesbian/transgender people succeed and being able to live and love the way they want to, and finally being accepted makes me very happy!
I don't necessarily agree with same-sex marriage, but I don't think that it's the government's place to decide and limit what people can do in the personal live's and relationships. I do feel it's somewhat unconstitutional to ban same-sex marriage, since in the U.S. we have a separation of church and state. If one of the main reasons people want to ban it is that it conflicts with their religion, than that conflicts with the distinction of church and state that is part of the foundation of our country.
I think it is good that they made same-sex marriage legal. Why not let other people be happy, and let them love who they want to love? Many people are very against it, and give it so much attention. They may not be okay with it, but why don't they let them do their thing, and they can do theirs.
I think same- sex marriage is OK. Why shouldn't be it allowed I mean those people who loves each other can't do something for there feelings. But that's only my opinion about that subject!
Even thought I don't agree with same-sex marriage, I believe that other people who have different beliefs should be able to live their lives and be happy. They shouldn't have to feel like they have committed a huge crime for just being different from other people.
I personally don't agree with same-sex marriage and don't think it's right, but I think that if it's what other people choose then they can go ahead and live their life how they wish.
At least you're respectful about it. I appreciate the people that can realize it isn't their life. It isn't their choice. Everyone deserves to be in love. Regardless of what that may look like to others.
I find same-sex marriage disgusting, stupid, and ultimately the worst thing to happen to this nation since the civil war. They should ban same-sex marriage.
I know about your faith, and you stand behind that, I can do nothing but respect you for that. That's your opinion, that's what you were taught. As far as the Bible goes... How can God tell you not to hate, and not to judge, but consider a person a sinner, just for being human? A very good friend of mine is homosexual and I've known it since we were 7. He did too. No, he was never raped, nobody had a "gay influence" on him, or any of the other reasons people come up with to explain it. You can't tell me a 7 year old boy is a sinner because he is naturally more attracted to men than women. That is just arrogant. Apart from religion, like I said above, HUMAN BEINGS are entitled to HUMAN RIGHTS. (Remember, I respect and understand your opinion, I just don't agree with it)
