Saftey Wall is a Killer Idea.

Road officials who built a wall across a 70mph motorway at night without warning motorists are being sued by crash victims.The five feet high wall - which had no lights or signs - had been built to protect road repairers working further down the highway.But officials are facing an inquiry after dozens of cars slammed into the wall in Xian, Shaanxi province, western China, without realising it was there.Survivor Zou Tieqin, 42, said: "I had my family in the car and I suddenly saw the wall in my headlights. I braked but it was too late and I went straight through."We were saved by our airbags but when we got out of the car we saw lots of other vehicles piling in. Some weren't so lucky."The people responsible cannot get away with this and we are demanding compensation," he added.But far from apologising - workers kept rebuilding the wall every time it was hit - saying they had put lights up but they had been pinched

    SAFETY wall is a KILLER idea! Oxymoron AND a play-on of words. nice.

    Also, what an insanely dumb idea. It's like fumigating someone's house without a warning. when the person is sleeping. then the person dies. then the person's family sues. then i stop talking.

    THis is stupid for one how could you not see a wall paty attentions fool and they should of had one those blinking arrows as well but see how stupid these drivers where good thing they had the wall the workers would of been hit

    That could of been a genius prank if people didnt die from it. Plus, whether the wall was up or not someone would end up dead. something shoulda been done, just, not this haha.

    This is just a terrible idea. You can't not put up a detour or something after building a wall in the middle of the road. Plus, it was a lose-lose situation for the road officials, they either protected their workers and killed drivers or killed workers and protected drivers. Eh.

    Okay...so they built the wall..but failed to tell people?! That's just stupid, not to mention dangerous.
    --They could always buy new lights for the wall...
