People all over the United States adopt kids from all over the world. The Russian Government recently passed a law not allowing Russian Orphans to be adopted by US citizens. Lots of couples have already put in to adopt kids from there, and won't get to bring them home. What do you think about not allowing peole from the US adopt orphans from Russia? Is it really fair to not allow these kids to have parents just because of the country they're from?

I think that's totally unfair. The kids would be lucky to live in the United States, it's much better than living in an orphanage in Russia.
Why would you deprive a child of a home? Unless there is proof that Americans are somehow jepardizing these kids there should be NO reason to take homes away from children that just need someone to care for them.
Russia banning adoptions to the U.S. um well I don't know what to think I mean since it is Russia, Russia can do what it wants. On the other hand I was adopted, so I feel that they should be allowed to have loving families. Russia can do what it wants, but I don't agree.
Well i wonder why they would do that... Them kids should get adopted by anyone.. at least they have someone who wants them! Also why would they do that and not allow them kids to get adopted by people in the US?
This is weird i think should let parents because they would have a way better life over here!
I heard about how horrible this is. There were 100's of thousands of kids that were being visited by potential U.S. adopters and now they are just stuck without anyone, and I assume that this is just another way to cut ties with America. Vladmir Putin seems pretty threatening.
I think that this is not right. I think that they should be allowed a good place to live. Yes the kids won't be close to there families, but they would have a great family that loves them.
