Rude Awakening

A man was arrested for mowing his lawn at 4:30 AM. He was mowing his lawn and his neighbors, and a neighbor called the police to report him. For the past 10 years he has mowed early in the mornings. When the officer came up to him, she asked if he knew it was illegal, he thought she was kidding, and then she cuffed him. He had never had a problem in the past, and mowing early fit best in his work schedule. What do you think about this? I think it is unfair, he was mowing lawns, and if they want their grass looking nice, then they can deal wtih it, otherwise they can do it themselves at a later time.

i don't think he should of gotten arrested for mowing his lawm its his own property and he's been doing it for 10 years now!

I think if its the time that works best for him and he's not purposely being extra noisy, the neighbors need to get over it.

I understand that it would be extremly annoying to hear your nieghbor mowing at 4:30 AM but i dont think thats enough to get cuffs put on him. I didnt know that was illegal either.. thats pretty dumb

I this is dumb. i think people should be allowed to mow their own lawn when ever they want to. it is theirs and they own and they have a right to mow whenever they feel like.

Were do you find these stories? I think it is unfair that this poor guy got arested for mowing his lawn. That is not Right!

haha that's really funny. But seriously, who mows their lawn at 4:30 am? Im just guessing that this guy was a total phsyco..

I don't think that he should have been arrested, but I think that does count as "Disturbing the Peace" which I think is against the law. But even for that, I don't think you get arrested, it seems like it'd be more like a fine or warning or something. Besides, who can't sleep though the sound of a lawn mower?

Wow i think that is dumb. he should be able to mow his laswn that early. people shouldnt have called the cops they should learn to deal with it.

That guy might have different hours than most people so maybe that is the only time he can mow his lawn.

I think that if it is on your property, you should have the right to do what you want, when you want. We all have had a neighbor at some point do something that we do not like or disagree with, but we deal with it. Not turn them into the police. I feel like the neighbor should have confronted the guy first and then trie to work things out. I hope that guy fights his ticket and wins. That is my opinion!!
