The lone survivor of a rock slide in Colorado that killed 5 hikers was probably the most unlikely person....a 13 year old girl named Gracie Johnson. Apparently her father jumped on top of her at the last minute to protect her from the rocks and saving her life. The heavy rain showers may have had something to do with the rock slide but the bodies have not yet been found because it is an unsafe for search teams to go in. Do you think that they should have let hikers and tourists on the trail if the park new it was potentially dangerous?

It's Colorado. There are mountains. Those mountains have rocks. People are hiking there all the time, it's a complete freak accident. It just happened to occur the time that those unlucky people were hiking.
No I don't think they should have let the people on the trail and I think the people should have been smart enough to notice weather conditions were not that great.
I don't think that they should have let the hikers do this. If they knew that it was dangerous, I don't think anybody should have been let up there. If I were the families of some of these people, I think I would try to sue them or get a law suite out of this. I don't think what they did was right.
Much better job in this post!
I do not think they should of let people go up into the mountains knowing it is very dangerous. This whole story is sad. They should have warned the people at least.
I think they should've blocked off the trail if they knew it was dangerous... This is a sad story. I'm glad that someone survived at least
What her dad did was so brave! I wonder how they could legally let people in the area if they knew it was not safe. Did the hikers know it was not safe? Should they not have been hiking up there?
I think that that they should let people go on it if was dangerous. Sad loss with her dad though. Glad that he took a life for her though.
No I don't think they should have let hikers in that's just asking for an accident. If I were part of the families that were killed I would probably sue the park.
If the trail was a threat in the first place it should have never been open. It's just to bad that some body has to die before anyone realizes this.
