A robber in Wheat Ridge Colorado decided that he wanted to rob a Quick Save store. When he walked in he disguised his face with a bandanna and a mask and went up to the store clerk. But what happened was that the robber knew and recognized who the store clerk was. He went up to the store clerk and asked him if he knew who he was. The clerk answered no and the robber said "Good" and gave a thumbs up to the clerk and ran out of the store. Later that night the police found him robbing a 7-eleven store in a nearby town and arrested him.
What is your opinion of how stupid this robber is?

I think that he robbed a different store later that night because he had already planned on robbing someplace. When he bailed on the Quick Save store, he didn't want to just go home, so he decided to rob someplace else.
I agree with you Noa. There is no point to steal.
The robber has already been on a "run" for getting through one store (without the person knowing his identity), I would think he would gain the confidence to go to another. This man probably need money fast and didn't have the stamina to actually try something else. This just really says how stupid some people can be, though.

You would that after one failed attempt you'd turn in for the night and try somewhere else after a few days. He obviously needed money fast, but you have to consider that you're putting yourself at risk if you walk into a one gas station, and then run away, and try again.

Well he is definitely not the smartest guy out there for trying to rob people in the first place. He robbed the other store because he apparently needed money for something and didn't want to work for it.

The robber was pretty stupid and should have known that his friend worked at that particular gas station. He should have not talked to the clerk because he might have recognized his voice. He probably robbed the other store because he had planned to rob one and he was just delayed on which one to rob.
