Some schools around the world are converting from using many conventional textbooks to using one portable device for learning. By storing all of the school textbooks on this device, say, a Kindle, it would, in time, save schools much, much money. This also decreases the load on students as they lug around twenty to thirty pounds of textbooks on their backs. Most textbooks do have a digital PDF format available for teachers to purchase for educational use. These devices could also eventually replace the need for a school library. There could possibly be a system in the future where schools have virtual libraries where you can "rent" E-books for a specific amount of time. I'm not sure how well or how it would work, but there sure a lot of possibilities for future schooling in the world.

i think this would make things really convenient.
it would be cool if they could automatically update the textbooks too, so we wouldnt have to download outdated ones.
