Temperatures in the Arctic this winter are abnormally warm this winter. The North Pole is currently experiencing its polar night, which is where the sun almost never rises for weeks on end during the winter. This is usually when the sea ice around the North Pole expands greatly. This year though, which is the hottest year on record for average temperatures of the Earth.
The North Pole is currently 36 degrees warmer than it usually is this time of year. This is having catastrophic effects on the ice pack and the animals that depend on it, like the polar bear. This is mostly attributed to a combination of global warming and the jet stream pushing some warmer air over the North Pole.
I think that this is a very bad situation. Global Warming is already a huge deal, and it seems like it gets worse every year. Just the fact that the North Pole is 36 degrees warmer on average than it should be right now is crazy.
Do you think that this is something we should be concerned about?
If so, what should we do about it to reduce our impact on the Arctic and its animals so that they don't go extinct and the sea levels don't rise?

You only commented on time. That is worth 20 points.
I think we should be very concerned about this because the glaciers could start melting causing flooding. I think we should start taking better care of our planet to reduce this.
It could be very bad, if it goes over, the climates getting warmer and we really have no room for all the water. We shouldn't pollute that's our problem, by factories, and a whole bunch of things we can change to make the temperature drop.
We need to be more aware of what global warming is causing and see if we can prevent it. There is a big problem and it needs to be fixed and we have a lot of people working to fix it.
I don't think that we need to be concerned because there is literally nothing we can do. I think the animals will adjust, it just might take some time. I think this because they are slowly adapting to what they have to live with. I think that people want to help but there is no way that we can get enough people to change the world and there is a large chance that they will fall back into their old habits.
I think this is definitely something to be concerned about especially if Steven Hawking things it could be one of the many causes of human extinction.
I agree with you, we would do a lot better for people's future by taking care of things now. It's kind of like making an investment in the future by not wrecking things now.
I think this is a reason for people to really start addressing global warming since it really is starting to take a tole on nature. This really is becoming an issue.
I think this is, it is affecting the Midwest as well. Don't you remember when it was September and it was snowing? I am not quite sure how to solve this. It is dependent on what you are thinking caused this.
There's so much stuff going on right now (like protests and all that stuff) but I don't think global warming should be one of our main concerns.
