Taylor Swift made a post on Instagram, highlighting her political views. No, she is not running for president, but I do think that would be one interesting scene. Although this may be true, according to an article I read on Newsela, she is supporting a Democrratic canidate in the Senate. Come the midterm election in November, I now know that Swift will be backing Democrat, Phil Bredesen. After making a post on Instagram regarding her support for Phil and talking badly about Republican, Marsha Bluckburn, many Republicans, including Donald Trump, criticized her while others appluaded her. Even though she stated that in the past she witheld herself from making comments toward politics, this is one post she will not be able to take back.

Answer- I think that although this may not be completely what people want to her from a president, it is awesome how much Trump speaks his mind. One of my favorite things about President Trump is his inability to use a filter. Debating politics is something that dates back to the originals. Therefore, I think that no matter who it is, they have a right to debate other peoples view.
Question- Do you think that Republicans will keep their stand over the senate, or Democrats will take over?
Answer- I think that Republicans will, by far, keep reign because they are more powerful and, frankly, they have people in higher places. As of right now, they are in charge of the senate with majority and hopefully it will stay this way.

I think that Trump has the right to speak what he thinks about Taylor Swift. She's also supposedly supporting democrats and he's a republican so that probably makes him maybe more angry. Also, I think that the Republicans will keep their stand over the senate. The Democrats probably don't have enough power to take over the Republicans over the senate.
I agree 100%. As I stated in one of my previous comments, she was criticizing Republicans, so Trump had the right to argue back. We have the right to free speech, even though he is president, he should not be any different. These are just normal politics. In addition, I concur that Democrats do not have enough power to take over.
I dont think so I mean I dont know what was all said on how he talked about her, and what she posted. I think that sometimes Trump can get a little out of control when calling someone out on social media. I think Republicans will stay the same because the democrats are being shut down more and more and they hate it.
She posted a picture on Instagram just saying that she was supporting Phil Bredesen who is a Democrat. She was also somewhat criticizing, Republican, Marsha Blackburn. So in some ways, she is no different then Donald Trump in this instance. I think in this situation you just have to look at the big picture. I know it is kind of childish, but technically she started it. On a side note, I agree that Republicans will keep majority because they are shutting down Democrats.
The president shouldn't be criticizing other people's political views. Just because you are a republican doesn't mean you should hate on democrats and vice versa.
I hope that republicans will keep their ground in the senate, and everywhere. In my opinion, not everything republicans agree with are perfect but they're better than the democrats. Some of the democratic beliefs and wants are very vile, and would turn this country into even more evil.
I agree to some point that criticizing is bad, but I think that he was just trying to debate his views and show what he believed in. I know that this is not the perfect situation and not every president has acted this way, but I kind of like it, he is real. I fully agree with your statement about the senate. I do think that some of the Democrats views are more vile and would just bring our country further into despair.
Trump just doesn't like anyone who says anything different than him. He really should try to be more proffesional, not just blab his mouth however he'd like. Normal people are actually endangering their jobs by saying anything contreversial, but here he is on a pedestal while having rude and stupid comments. He seems a bit brutish and dumb to me because of it.

Yes, sometimes he can take things a little too far. I do think sometimes he should think more before he speaks. It is true that music does not depend on the artist views but I don't think that he was necessarily attacking her music. But these are all good points and we will see if it all affects his popularity come the mid term election.
I think he can criticize her if he has a reaosn. Politicians are always criticized by people, so if she really wants to be one she should get used to it. I think they will keep it because more younger people will go vote and I think they are more on the side of the democrats.
