Purple Hearts Given To The Wrong Families

A family who just happen to be mourning the loss of their fallen soldier recieved a package in the mail that gave them a purple heart, and a letter that talked about athletic reconditioning for them to get better.

 

I think I would be completely surprised to get a purple heart in the mail, because purple hearts are only for people who just got injured and DIDN'T die. I would be really sad after that because it would just remind me that my relative was dead and I would start crying again. But, I am glad that the people who sent it said that there were no words for how sorry they feel.

What do you think?? How would you feel??

    i would break down!! jeeezzz i cant even imagine! :( and id be mad that they could make such a mistake!

    Id be really sad that my family member died and it would take me FOREVER to get over it. A purple heart would be cool and the thought would be nice, but then again, I would hate that it would be there for me to remeber my family member died.

    aww that stinks. im sure the people who made that mistake felt really bad. i hope the family who got the purple heart didnt have to hard feelings towards the people who sent it

    I'm sure the people that sent it did feel very sorry and it was a total accident but i do feel for the family that had to suffer thru the reality again that their loved one could never hug them or kiss them or be with them every again.
