Maria has finally passed over Puerto Rico and the conditions there are not great. Most of the people that are living in Puerto Rico are currently living without access to water or to communication. There is one cell tower that is currently giving cell service and people from all over the country are coming to call their loved ones and let Them know they're safe. And to make matters worse there is a dam that is about to collapse because it can't sustain all the water that's behind it. Currently 4,000 us troops have been deployed to help rescue and the reconstruction of Puerto Rico is already underway.

1: If you were currently in Puerto Rico and needed to get a hold of your loved ones but it meant you had to travel many hundred of miles to do so would you still do it?
2: Do you think that the Puerto Rico government should start rebuilding now or do you think that they should wait seeing that it is Hurricane season and more are bound to come.

Good story choice! Be sure to comment more frequently and on three different days. Also be sure to capitalize words in your title.
I think that I probably wouldn't travel there and wait at first because maybe they will fix the electricity and then the whole journey would be for nothing. I'm not sure if they should already start rebuilding but the government should definitely make sure that everyone has somewhere to stay, maybe even in camps.
1 - I don't think I would leave the safety of what was left of my home to travel hundreds of miles and risk not finding water or food. Yes it would be important to contact my family, but the risk just seems to much. If you already survived through the hurricane why risk dying from not having supplies.
Yes, I would try to. I would want my family to know that I am okay and I wouldn't want them to worry or get upset because I haven't contacted them. I think they should wait to rebuild because the dam could burst and cause even more damage.
I would try. Letting my family know I was okay would be very important to me because I would not want them to worry. I think that they should wait to build some things like big shopping areas or little gas stations and worry about taking care of hospitals and houses.
Yes if I was able and had the money. I think it's their money they can do as they please but I'd recommend they only fix up what's absolutely necessary to most people and ignore the little problems.
Well I don't know if there would be any way to travel except for by car. If roads weren't flooded then I would try my best to. I think that rebuilding should start once everyone is safe. They don't want to start rebuilding when people ares still stuck under rubble.
1. Yes, but only if I know that I am going to be safe.
2. I think that they need to wait for a month or a few weeks and then start to building secure builds.
Yes because if I had a family I would do whatever to be together and lean on each other. Staying where your memories are is amazing but leaving and still being alive would mean more to me. I would wait until hurricane season is done due to another hurricane is creating.
I would go anywhere for my family but i think if they start to soon there might be another hurricane and come and mess everything that the fixed. Family is the best thing in life and if you dont return the favor they did for you its probably not worth it to you.
