President Obama gave a speech about how black men grow up without a father. The statistics are not very heartwarming. He talked about how hard it is for a black man to succeed in modern America. Did you know that 1 out of every 2 black kids grow up without a father? You are much more likely to get into drugs if you are in the African American race. In this video president Obama admits to getting high as a young adult. It is hard to imagine that the president of the United States used to do drugs.

Its been known that he did drugs for long time.
Lol this is kind of awkward. I mean maybe it's an inspiration to a black kid deep in drugs to get out of that and you can still be successful. I mean Obama did drugs and he's the president! It's extremely unfortunate to grow up without a father, but I think your life is what you make it. Your life, your choices.
I think it was nice of him to admit this but it shows that kids will think that they can do it and try to get away with it since the president got away with it.
I think it is a good thing that he has enough courage to put this out there. Most critics would be very mad and not happy about this, but sharing tough times helps people know that they can make it though the hard times.

I think it's good that he's admitting this because it shows that it does effect everyone, but good things can happen if you quit drugs. This shows that you can quit drugs and still make a good life for yourself. It is very hard to imagine the president doing drugs as a young adult.

Obama probably knew the truth would get out eventually so he wanted the country to hear it from him and not some kid on the internet begging for attention. I mean we all know people have gotten high before, it's not like it is an uncommon factor in our world today.
Yeah it's probably good that he admitted it himself before rumors got out about it.
