President Trump has requested an additional $4 Billion from congress for additions to the United States Missile Defense System. This is in addition to the $9.9 Billion they had already received. They plan on using this to add 16 Standard Missile interceptor rockets, 50 Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) interceptor missiles and to upgrade radar and missile detection. My response-I think that he is doing the right thing, because even if North Korea doesn't strike, it is always better to have it and not need it. I think that the Congress will give him the money because he is just trying to do this to help the country and save American lives. I think that there is no better way to spend the money than to protect our country from North Korea.

I think that this is the right move by Trump because he knows that if we were to get attacked, we would need to be ready. North Korea has a lot of missiles, so we would need to be ready to battle back. I think that the Congress will give him extra money, but probably not 4 billion. 13.8 billion dollars is a lot of money to spend on missiles even though its for our safety.
