An 8 month pregnant woman, Hannah Kelly, reeled in a 226 pound swordfish in Orange Beach Alabama. On one end of the line, a 226-pound swordfish. At the other, a 125-pound, eight months pregnant, mother to be. That battle lasted two and a half hours before Hannah Kelly hauled in the biggest fish of her life. So just how big was this fish? Well the back of the boat is almost 13 feet long. His tail once they got it in the boat started here and went all the way to the end of his bill.
What do you guys think of this really cool story?

I think this is really cool. It is nice to have a good story on here. I couldn't believe fighting a fish for two and a half hours. I don't think I would have the strength to fight that long, and its amazing that she was able to, being eight months pregnant.
Pure awesomeness right there. I bet you that she is going to tell her son about this once his born and can talk because I think that would be a cool story to tell my son if that happened to my wife if i will get one
I think that it is cool that she caught a giant fish, but she shouldn't be reeling in a fish at 8 months pregnant. I'm almost certain that doing that caused some sort of damage to the unborn infant.
yeah it would have been cool, and good job on catching a fish that big the biggest fish i have ever caught was prob. maybe 20 pounds lol
I think that is pretty cool that she caught it. Espically because she was pregnat
its was really cool. that would be really amazing for anyone to catch a fish that big, it was just even more special bc of her being pregnant.
That is crazy! Especially when she is pregnant. I like how you added this story! Most forum posts are negative and sad, but this is just so positive! This women should be at home resting rather then going and catching 226 pound fish.
lol yeah it wasnt really all the smart of her, that much physical work that far along could be harmful to the baby but i think she was lucky this time. but still a great accomplishment for anyone.
First of all that's a very light pregnant women, and second, that is a very big fish for her to be reeling in. I probably would give up after 5 minutes of trying to reel it in.
i would have too. that would be really hard to reel in something that out weighs you
