One of the worlds current issues in the world is poverty.There are many different types of poverty,Absolute,Relative,Situational,Generational,rural,and Urban.What is poverty?
It is an economic state where people are experiencing scarcity or the lack of certain needs.The word poverty comes from the french word poverte which menas poor.Absolute is tending to struggle to live and experience a lot of child deaths from preventable diseases like malaria, cholera and water-contamination related diseases
Absolute poverty is uncommon in developed countries.Relative poverty is a measure on income quality,its used to measure the lower rates of income in wealthy developed nations.
Situational poverty is a type of poverty when event like environmental disaster, less jobs and severe health problems happens.It is temporary and able to be helped out with some small assitance.Generational is handed over to individual and families from one generation to the one. This is more hard to excape because the people are trapped in its cause and unable to acess the appropriate needs that is required
Urban poverty occurs in the metropolitan areas with population over 50,000. Some challenges in this poverty area are limited acesses to health and education,
no housing services, violet communities and no social protection.
Some ways that poverty is being help today is by social security, food assistance,tax credits and housing assistance

I think that poverty is a sort of over looked issue. I think the issue of povery is worsening but there are some things we can do to help. Inflation and high demand creates a issue with those who are less fortunate. Homes, food, and necessities are becoming too expensive to afford.
Poverty is a rising issue because of the most recent economic issues in the world. The government could provide some aid to these people. They could provide jobs to them, or even shelters for them to stay at until they can afford a place to live.
I think that poverty is an issue and it should be helped by offering some people jobs. I also feel like prices for things are to high for some people to afford. Another thing is that I think some people should try to get jobs to help there situation.
Poverty is a growing problem and I think is growing because of recent economic issues from covid, unemployment, and the ukrainian war. I don't know if America is making it a priority or not but because I haven't seen much about it, i'm going to assume it is not.
Poverty can be prevented by offering jobs through different organizations. If someone is stable enough to work, I think it is their job to reach out to job opporitunities. If they find it hard, I think there should be a way for them to get help. I am not sure if we are making it a priority, but I do know that there are organizations and people to help.
I think that living in today's world and buying necessities is outrageously expensive, and even people who aren't technically "impoverished" struggle sometimes, so you can only imagine how hard it is to survive in poverty. I think the government needs to take actual measures to relieve these families or provide jobs to them.
I think with high demand from weathier families the prices are getting ridiculous to those who struggled to afford groceries before inflation. I think this problem should take somewhat of a priority. The government could provide aid to help get people back on their feet, even if it is just a homeless shelter in an area for them to stay at.
I feel like if stores and prices in general would be lower families would beable to afford things nowadays. I think that it can be more of a prioity in our world today. There are a lot of people out there that can't afford half of what they got or want because of the expenses they have to pay or how much its is especailly food.
Some other ways poverty can be prevented might be help from others, if other places help people in need then they can get back up and potentionaly give them those things back. Or just have the government help, they should have the funds or ways of getting funds to help the people out of tough situations.
The government could start instituting more homeless shelters for people in need and start mandating the communities to make govt.-funded shelters and "help centers" (for lack of better terms.) Poverty and homelessness is a big issue, and with recent world events, I don't feel like the U.S. is making it a priority.
