One of the worlds current issues in the world is poverty. There are many different types of poverty,Absolute,Relative,Situational,Generational, rural, and Urban. What is poverty?
It is an economic state where people are experiencing scarcity or the lack of certain needs. The word poverty comes from the french word poverte which menas poor.Absolute is tending to struggle to live and experience a lot of child deaths from preventable diseases like malaria, cholera and water-contamination related diseases
Absolute poverty is uncommon in developed countries.Relative poverty is a measure on income quality, its used to measure the lower rates of income in wealthy developed nations.
Situational poverty is a type of poverty when event like environmental disaster, less jobs and severe health problems happens. It is temporary and able to be helped out with some small assitance.Generational is handed over to individual and families from one generation to the one. This is more hard to excape because the people are trapped in its cause and unable to acess the appropriate needs that is required
Urban poverty occurs in the metropolitan areas with population over 50,000. Some challenges in this poverty area are limited acesses to health and education,
no housing services, violet communities and no social protection.
Some ways that poverty is being help today is by social security, food assistance, tax credits and housing assistance
What are some other ways that poverty can help be prevented?
Are we making it a priority ?

I like your topic but it is quite broad. You really needed to go into more detail on all the different types of poverty as well as explaining solutions more as well. You didn't reply back to any student comments which is worth 30 points. -10 one day late
I think that people should start some programs to help with poverty just to get them out or just to minimize it.
Poverty has emmenated throughout society since the dawn of civilization. One of the major goals of the 21st century is to try and reduce and minimize poverty as a whole. I believe that in order to do this, we would have to dole out resources to more 3rd world countries. By teaching people to learn valuable farming techniques.
I think that poverty is bad and that everyone should try to help people in poverty to get out of poverty. I belive that we should edjucate and train people in poverty to become smarter with their money and make good decisions to get out of poverty and live a normal life.
I believe that poverty is horrible and that we should be doing more to help or trying to help prevent it. I think that if we made poverty a pritority that it would help it. I believe that also helping not only some communites around here but different less devloped countrys too.
I do not think many people are making poverty a priority. If we made it a priority we would try to help the less developed countries and set up more commities to help out certain groups of people. Simple things like having more jobs and education in communities could be a great way to raise poverty.
I think that poverty is horrible but most people have reasons for being in poverty which is not good. I do not think that many people are making it a priority and that allows for more people to be in poverty. It is not a good thing but I think people have chances to not go into it.
I agree that poverty is a very big issue in today's world. It is kind of overlooked in my opinion. I think there need to be more job opening so people can find work. If people don't have work then they won't be able to support their families.
In my opinion poverty can be prevented by lower taxes and more, better opportunities to work so that we don't have as much jobless people so we maybe have less poor people.
I think that we could prioritize poverty as a world issue because, as of 2020, 11.4 % of the population is in poverty in the US alone. Poverty may also be caused by the lack of jobs giving livable wages and the rich evading their taxes so that money is less distributed amongst all people.
