If you haven't heard about Mollie Tibbetts who is a college student at the University of Iowa you must be living under a rock. She was abducted last month and was missing up until a week ago when they found her body. Her abductor was Cristhian Bahena Rivera who is an illegal immigrant who also lead the cops to her body. Recently after finding out that Rivera was an illegal immigrant people have been taking to social media that this is the reason we need to build the wall. President Donald trump had a lot to say about the matter to. "You heard about today with the illegal alien coming in very sadly from Mexico," he said. "And you saw what happened to that incredible beautiful young woman, This Should have never happened. Illegally in our country," Trump said. "We've had a huge impact, but the laws are so bad, the immigration laws are such a disgrace.”

I do believe that it could help in a way to keep immigrants out of the United States. Now, I don't think it is just the illegal immigrants that are the problem. It could've been a US citizen. It isn't just the immigrants that are comitting crimes like this one.
I think a wall may help a little more by keeping immagrants out but they would just always be trying to somehow get through it. Even if there war a wall, it wouldn;t have helped Mollie because he was already in the states a couple of years before. I think immagrants risk their life to try and cross the border in order to just get a better life for them and thier family.
I believe the Mollie Tibbets story is a little inappropriate for politicians to rant over so soon. They should of let the parents grieve for a little bit, and then they could rant. But, Mollie's story needs to be known to every American. We have illegal immigrants coming into our country everyday. They are stealing our jobs, abducting our citizens, and terrorizing our country. We do need a wall. Trump has said time and time again that illegals are taking over. If it takes an innocent girl to get killed to get everyone's attention, then Trump has made his point. Mollie's story is finally opening the eyes of Americans. They are realizing that this country does need some cleaning up. Other countries citizens want to come here because we are a stabilized and free. Their country could possibly be getting torn apart by war and hatred. But, this does not give the ok to pass through our borders. They have made it this far to America, they can wait a little longer to get in legally.
I agree but they are just looking for a better life that they didn't origanlly get. But some people do come over to do bad and to harm but not all of them do. it is sad that this happened but it did make valid points!
I don't know if we need a wall or not. Trump says that we have the best border security so maybe our president could do some work on border control. I wall may work or not work. They come to america because they want a new life and a new start.
I think a wall would possible help keep some immigrants out. It is unfortunate that they are using Mollie's case as a political case to help push for the wall. If the wall would have been up, it still wouldn't have saved Mollie because he had been in the states for a few years. I think immigrants risk their lives coming to America becasue they think America is so much nicer or better than where they are at. They just want a better life and I believe that is why they come to America.
It's very said that they are using a girls death just to help their case! I also think a wall might help but maybe try other options before the wall! We do have an amazing life over here but it's horrible the risk their lives to come here. we need to find a more efficiency way to let people come over so it doesnt take as long.
Personally, I don't think building a wall will help very much. Citizens of other countries risk their lives to come to America because they could have it bad in their current place. However, I don't agree with using this story as a reason to build a wall. Just because he was an immigrant doesn't mean he's more likely to abduct someone. ANYONE can kidnap someone, including citizens of the United States. Using this story for political gain makes it seem as though people don't care that a college student not only got kidnapped and also died, but only care about the fact that it was an illegal immigrant who commited the crimes.
I personally think we need a wall because there are so many illegal immigrants coming to America. They are taking so many jobs and putting our lives into danger. America is a country that's free and no one really controls you verses a lot of other countries who are in war and are in charge. I understand people need to risk their life to give their family a better life but they are taking over America.
