Police are still investigating the 17 year old who brought a gun to school. According to the police, a Bellevue East High School teacher, saw the 17 year old with a gun in possession. Police investigated the weapon to be an Airsoft Pistol, and not a hand gun. The 17 year old was charged with terroristic threats and disturbing the peace.

It was a good thing they caught this even though it was a fake gun and only a airsoft gun. If it was a real gun it could have turned really bad
Why would you do that after all of the shootings you have to be stupid to do something like that.
they need school security and metal detectors of some sort to assure no weapons will enter the store
Airsoft guns shoot little plastic bbs. I really don't think they should have charged him with terroristic threats cause what is he gonna do? Shoot up the army with little plastic balls. yeah ok.
Its scary to think that this is happening so close to Harlan. Thankfully it was just a airsoft gun and not a real gun.

Kids are crazy these days. i don't know what would provolk a student to bring anything that looks like a gun to school. it doesn't make anyone cool to do that. The kid knew that it looked like a real gun, that is quite a threat. I know that it was an airsoft gun but they can hurt too, they cant kill or anything that serious but they sure do leave a mark.
I think it was good that he was charged even tho it was an airsoft gun so many bad things have happened that you cant be so sure anymore.
I don't get why people try to act cool by bringing a gun or any kind of weapon to school. I think they only do it for attention.
