Miami-Dade cops were caught ignoring emergancy calls! There was five officers and one sergeant that were caught on camera doign this. One of the incidents this happened was a burgalary was called in and the police officer ignored it and went to go see a women. On the video on the page it shows the officer showing a great affection for this women. This is outragous! A police officer should be concernced about his or her work on duty not their own. They got the job to keep people safe but they were not doing that.

This is completely ridiculous! I would not feel safe at all living in that area if the cops weren't paying attention to possibly huge threats. What if someone had gotten hurt? I'm sure that women the police officer was talking to instead of doing his job with wouldn't have wanted him doing that. Unless she was in some sort of danger, I don't think he should have been talking to her at all. They should have been doing their jobs. Their are cops that have to miss Christmas with their families to be on duty, so this is just completely out of line for them.
If they want a job where they don't have to do anything a cop is not one of them. They should try lifeguarding. :)
As US citizens we rely on cops to keep us safe. I am sure most cops are doing their job but these 6 police men need to do their jobs and stay away from distractions They really need to pay attention to what they are doing.. They are responsible for our lives.
This definitely deserves them getting fired. This is completely unacceptable!!!
I think that this is really bad because people were in danger and the police did nothing about it.
Those offers need to be fired and have some kind of punishment. What if someone was really in need of some help.
I hope they get fired for this! They have a very big responsibility and ignoring calls isn't living up to that responsibility.
The officers should have been doing their job better. Their job is to keep everyone safe and they weren't.
This was very selfish of them to put their own non life threatening wants in front of fatal/horrible situation. Police officers have a difficult job but that's what they signed up for and what they wanted to do for a living. The fact that they would just stop and ignore desperate people who need help is unbelievable.
Well this is awkward. If you are part of any PD, you need to be there 100%. Not just there psychically, but mentally too. You cannot do your job half way, thinking being there will "cut it". There are so many people who are going through struggles daily and you're sitting there caught up in your love affair?! What's up with this?!
