Phoenix Arizona rejects to allow for a black lives matter mural to be put up in the downtown area of the city. I think that it is a very good thing that they didn’t allow for this to happen. I think that if they would’ve let this go through that the black people would think that they could do whatever they want to do which could put people in danger like all of the protests that were going on. I think that all people should be treated equally so there should not be a mural of the black lives matter. Also if one city was going to put up a sign there would be a lot of cities that would have protesters protesting to put up the same sign for everybody to see. This would only make the americans made about this because some of the people that came into the United States illegally.
And then decided that everything is racist and that they didn’t like it so they decided to burn down peoples businesses and which also put some people in danger and cost them a lot of money to repair their damaged businesses. I think that if the signs were put up all around the country the black people would think that they could do anything that they cared to do and if they don’t get what they want they will just break the law to get what they want by protesting and having riots. I think that if the country would be more active in trying to stop the riots and protesting that they would know that they can’t keep destroying the peoples businesses and hard work they put into their businesses.
I think a lot more of the black people that have been protesting should get put in jail for the things that they have did so then a lot more of this stuff would happen less and then the police and government would be able to work and focus on something else other than all of the riots and destruction they have caused. I think that the BLM should not be supported because all of the destruction that they have caused and it has done nothing but ruin peoples businesses and made people loss a lot of money because they are burning down the peoples bussinesses that they have put a lot of hard earned money into and I think that if white people would be doing this they would get into a lot of trouble, but not a lot of the BLM protesters are getting in trouble for what they have done. I also think that just because they say they are protesting peacefully they are really hurting people and destroying bussinesses. However I think that this will lead to a lot more rioting and I think that if this occurs that they should put a immediate stop to this and not let this even begin.

I agree with why Phoenix rejected the mural. The BLM has shut down businesses and caused lots of destruction in towns and cities. I feel that this was the best option for Phoenix just for the saftey of the the people and city. I feel that people would protest either way but that this might have been the best thing to do.
I agree with Phoenix's decision to reject the mural. Black Lives Matter has resulted in more property destruction, business loss, vandalism, and looting than it has increased support and funds for black communities. Giving them what they want would be like dealing with terrorists, as the blm trend has done more harm than good.

For some reason, the city of Phoenix decided that it would be best for their city not to have a Black Lives Matter mural. If I lived in Phoenix, I would respect what my city leaders decided was the best for my city. I feel like there would have been protest either way. If Phoenix would have put up the mural, people who have different opinions about it might start a fight. Also with Phoenix not putting the mural up, there were probably some protests from people who thought that the mural should have been put up.
I agree that there would be protest either way and I also agree with you that everyone should respect what the town has decided to do and that they are not always going to get their way in everything, and there probaly would be protest either way.
I think that it was the right decision to decline this mural. I agree with you that if they would have been allowed to put this mural up, then every other organization and protest is going to think that they have the right to put things up too. I think that most of these protests (especially BLM) already gets enough press the way it is that putting up this mural is just uneeded. I think that there could very well possibly be people who are upset about this and will probably try to do something, but at this point what's new?
I agree with you that putting up the mural was totally unnessary to put up since they do get enough attention from everybody when they are on the news for destroying buildings and all of the other things that they have done.
Personally, I think declining it was the right thing to do. However, I'm not sure if declining it was a good idea because there will probably be more riots and protests since it isn't up. Since I see the BLM movement as somewhat destructive, putting the mural up might've eliminated some riots or chaos. However, I do agree with you that if everyone is viewed as equal, (and BLM already receives enough attention as it is) it doesn't need to be put up downtown in the city of Phoenix. If that was the case, they should put up signs for every protest going on. However, I don't think it is necessary to put them downtown.
I agree that there probaly will be more riots with the decision that they made on the situation however I think that even if they would've decided to put up the sign I thinkl the riots would've continued to happen and that if would not help anything putting up the sign except for giving more attention to them.
