Peyton Manning has neck surgery again

In the wake of the new NFL season, 4-time NFL MVP Peyton Manning had his 2nd neck surgery in 5 months. Manning consaulted with 6 doctors about his neck that has been slow to heel, and they decided that another surgery was the best option. Manning who was already out for week one, will miss more time, and some experts are saying maybe the entire season. For The Colts its now "next man up" which is Kerry Collins a 16 year NFL vetran, but even a 16-year such as Collins can match the greatness that is Peyton Manning.

  • i hope he gets better soon! do they think he will have to have another surgery after this?
  • obvisouly the colts are going to have a tough season without him!
  • That sounds super sucky.. cause if hee can't finish the season, then it'll be really hard to start playing again next season.
  • Hopefully he doesn't miss the entire season, because if he does, the Colts won't do anything in the playoffs.
    • They wont get to the playoffs without him
  • After watching the game today i have one thing to say it's going to be a long season for the Colts
  • haha I just about picked him for my fantasy league but I got Brees instead. good choice.

  • 2nd surgery in 5 months. Wow! But he will be back and playing before you know it.

  • just as long as nothing happens to Adrian Peterson or P. Harvin, I'm good.
  • This is a disapointment to the NFL becuase Payton Manning is one of the most dynamic and important players of the NFL and the Indianapolis Colts.
