Peyton manning decided after an amazing 18 year career in the NFL. After winning the Superbowl in February Peyton came to the conclusion that it might be best to get out on top. Peyton holding the all time records in Passing touchdowns (539), Passing yards (71,940), and quarterback wins (186). His teams made it to the Superbowl 14 of their 18 seasons. Peyton manning is also the only quarterback to ever win a Superbowl with two different teams.
You think peyton should have retired earlier?
As a huge broncos fan I just wanna say clearly you can be old and still play the game and for anyone that doesnt believe peyton manning is deserving of the reputation he upholds please look up the facts.

I don't think so. I think it is the perfect time for him now to retire.
I think it is a perfect time to retire because he is going out with another Superbowl under his belt and he can now spend the rest of his life focusing on his family
I think it was a perfect time for him to retire, he obviously ended where he wanted to. He clearly still had game left in him and he just knew it was the right time. Now, he can focus on his family life and spend more time with them.
I don' necessarily think that he should have retired earlier, but I think he made a very good decision deciding to retire. He just felt he wasn't finished yet, and he knew something good would come and he would know when he's done. It was the perfect ending for him and I am sure his family is very happy for his accomplishments but also for him to be around more.
I think that Peyton was just waiting for the right time to do it. He knows that he could do it at anytime, but I think this year was a good year to do it. He won the SuperBowl and went out on a good note, so I think it was a good choice for him. Now he can focus on his family.
I think Peyton should be able to pick when he is able to retire. It's his choice because he knows what is right for him and plus then he finished his career on top.
I think that Peyton Manning should retire as he pleases. Its his life, not his fans and supporters. ALthough, I do think it would be smart to finish his career on top, almost like ending it with a bang! I think Peyton will do the right thing for himself in the end.
No because he stuck with what he loved and that was playing the game. Peyton maybe even could have went longer if he wouldn't have so many injuries latley and surgery's. After 18 years I think he has had an amazing carrer.
I honestly dont care on if he should have retired because some people may think that yes he should have and others may say no he shouldn't.. Its all just kind his choice on whether or not he wants to.
I don't think he should have retired earlier because he ended with a great career and the biggest achievement in football. I think he made the right decision to stay in the NFL for as long as he did because he knows himself better than anyone else and he broke lots of records in his long career.
