As most of us love peanut butter, there has been a recall on Smucker's Natural Chunky Peanut Butter! They recalled this because it may be contaminated with salmonella! The jars that are recalled are only the ones with the best-if-used-by dates, which are August 3rd 2012, and August 4th, 2012. This is only for chunky pb not creamy! These jars were shipped to Iowa, Ohio, North Dakota, Kansas, Maine, Kentucky, and several others.

My family is stocking up on peanut butter because of the shortage. I just hope we eat it all before it expires.
recalls always happen they're mistakes but its kind of annoying..
the only good peanut butter is jif.. so it's all good!!

I remember something like this happened a couple years ago. Salmonella really gets into this stuff a lot.
It doesn't affect my at all because I hate chunky peanut butter but I like creamy and we only get skippy, so I'm safe.
I LOVE peaut butter. I don't get the Smuckers brand, so it doesn't affect me but it is still a little scary. It seems like they have had lots of recalls on peanut butter in the past so I hope they get this problem solved soon.
Havent they recalled peanut butter like alot of times? or didnt they recall it last year or something? or why only chunky? maybe cause it has more peanuts in it! i dont know but thats a problem there going to have to figure out soon.
well thats... reasuring... dang i hope nobody got sick! Gosh i think they should maybe be more careful with all these sickness that could get into the food that we eatt! maybe they should be more clean.
That's kind of scary because I love peanut butter. I probably eat a jar of peanut butter each month. I eat peanut butter toast every morning for breakfast and I eat celery with peanut butter for a snack a lot of times, but I eat creamy Jif Peanut butter usually.
