In californa you can get payed to play college sports now. a statement released on Monday, NCAA officials predicted the law will create confusion throughout the nation as more states follow in California's footsteps.the NCAA agrees changes are needed to continue to support athletes, but improvement needs to happen on a national level through the NCAA’s rules-making process, they have said the law is already making people mad. the bill is treatented to alter. I agree with the bill that californa signed because the players risk there lifes and the school makes money off them.
Do you agree with paying college sports players?
Do you think other states will follow califona?

1.) In the end, they aren't "actually" getting paid. These people are allowed to sign autographs for money. They are also allowed to sign with sponsors. This is technically not getting paid. But, I believe that if they work ahrd enough, they should be able to get paid by their effort.
2.) This is hard to tell. I think that eventually other states will give in, but I do believe that only the bigger states will. I think that the bigger states always have the "GOAT's" of college football. So, I beleieve that they will eventually follow, but it is going to take some time for them to start.
I agree with you that the players are putting their lives on the line, and because of that they shoul get payed. However, this will take some of the fun out of college sports, because then the game becomes more about an individual player rather than the whole team. Players will care more about individual stats because they make money off of that.
I do agree because the schools are making lots of money off the athletes but only in football and maybe a little in mens basketball but otherwise no sports make more money than they spend but I do think it is nice for the players.
Do you agree with paying college sports players?
Basicly I agree and its faithful to pay money for students who riks their health and even lifes, but its has its own minus side. The minus side is that with this law more more students will be part of this sport and these people will just play and destroy their health just to earn some money
Do you think other states will follow califona?
If the result of the law will be increasing participants and interest to the sport, I think other states will do the same
1. I do thik college players should get payed to play, but I think it should not be as much as professional
2. I think that in a few years, states will get the idea and start to pay there top star college players.
I agree that college players should be able to make money off their name but I do not think players should be able to sign contracts. I feel like college athletes work way too hard to not get paid. I do think that many other states will also make this a law and follow California.
I agree that they should be able to and thats fine but if other states dont start to pass the law and just california schools are paying there athletes then the schools in cali are going to start having amazing teams
I agree that college atheletes should be paid, but I also think that they should only be paid a fair amount. What I mean is that even though they compete at a very high level, they aren't professionals, and their paycheck should reflect that. I do believe that other states will follow California.
I agree that college players can make money off their name, but I think it could get out of hand where schools pay and give players contracts. But if players just make money off their own name that would be ok. I think many other states will follow the new law and it has a chance to go nationwide.
