Pastor Ronald Harris was preaching in Lake Charles, Lousisana on a Friday night, when Woodrow Karrey who was a church deacon shot him twice. Woodrow Karrey walked in the church and shot the pastor, then walked up to the pastor and shot him again. Woodrow fled the scene, but later turned himself in. He had two guns, a shotgun and a pistol. He had no criminal record, and no one knows the cause of the murder yet. I'm disappointed someone would do that, especially a deacon. Why do you think Woodrow Karrey shot him?

Maybe Woodrow had an issue with this pastor, or the pastor tried to help him and he didn't like it. But I really don't know why someone would do such a thing.
I think this is crazy. Who would just randomly shoot a pastor? I wonder what could have possibly led him to do something like that? I'm sure that lots of people in their community were devistated and shocked.
Yeah it is a sad event, hopefully something like this doesn't happen again.
This is sad and confusion. Why would someone do that? Maybe it was because his wife cheated on him with the pastor or he's gay. One of the two.
I think he would have shot the pastor because he believed that god had let him down and he attacked the closest branch he could think of
That is another good idea, that he wanted to get revenge, because he thought God did something to let him down. Which if that was true, then I think the deacon would have been mentally ill or something.
Religious people are supposed to have higher morals, why would a deacon kill a preacher? This is just a really confusing situation.
I couldn't even start to think of this happening, and the only reason i could think of this happening is personal issues between the people. It depresses me thinking that this is what our world has came to.
Yeah, its pretty sad that people keep killing others. I hope it stops soon.
