Nikolas Cruz killed seventeen innocent lifes earlier last year in Parkland Florida. The residents have always said that Cruz has had a temper. Cruz stole an AR-15 from his foster parent and ended up shooting a school up. His foster parents have always said that he was having the best time and he said he was always happy. Parkland Shooter Nikolas Cruz is getting into more and more trouble in jail. The source says that Nikolas tackled an police officer and continued to punch the officer over and over. Cruz also tried to steal the officers gun. They say that he is causing trouble left and right. Everything started when an officer told Cruz to stop dragging his feet while he walks. Cruz is still waiting on Trial charges from the shooting in Febuary. He now will face, assault, battery, and and use of eletric weapon at a guard. The story also mentions that he took the guard down to the ground and was punching him repeatedly. After the fight the guard had held control and got Cruz under control. Now, with all of the things he is facing he could eventually could face death penalty.
Do you believe in the death penalty? Why or why not?
I personally feel like it is a little bit harsh. But yet again some of this people who did these crimes, did terrible things. Like Cruz he killed seventeen people and their life is gone and how many family members had to go through this. I think it depends on what they did but Nikolas did evil and I think he should face the death penalty.
What do you think about Nikolas actions?/ How do you think you could prevent this from happening?
I think his actions were very wrong. He should've never done this. This just makes him look even more bad as he has already done horrible things. This makes him look more evil and we should worry about mental health. I think the jail could give him some medicine and try to get him help because he definetly has some issues and theys should get him the help he needs.

Super job Brock! You replied to basically everyone! Unbelievable!
The death penalty is harsh, but so is killing a bunch of people. I think the death penalty may be a good idea for his case, but I shouldn't decide who lives or dies- I wouldn't want to be playing God.
I think what he did was sad and disgusting and tragic. People knew he would be the type of person to shoot up the school, and he had so many warning signs and threats of it. It was not a suprise, but when threats like that happen- people need to take them more seriously.
Very true, he killed so many people but is right to kill him? But he did do some terrible things and he should be punished for it. He did do terrible things and it's very sad and I think his family should've known he wasn't okay.
I wouldn't say that I believe in it, but it it were to be used then there should be a ton of evidence and evidence that could be proven. I think that he is a very bad person and has done many bad things and should be locked up for life.
I agree with you I don't completly agree with it but some families need closure. But he also could just rot in jail. He is a very bad person and think he needs to get mental health.
I do believe in the death penalty because if someone kills a few/ bunch of innocent people for no reason then why should we give them a life sentence and keep paying for them to live if they are going to be stuck in one building the rest of their life. I think all parents need to check up on their kids and see if everything is going good eveyonce and awhile just to see if the are okay.
I don't completly agree with the death penalty but when it comes to this I feel horrible for all the kids that were killed and some families wont closure. But he also can just rot in jail. I also agree parents, friends or couenslors need to check on kids.
I believe if he has no remorse for what he did there's no reason to keep him alive, even if that's a harsh punishment. If he doesn't want to learn from his mistakes and keeps trying to hurt others, then he either needs real help, or the death penalty, especially if receiving help wouldn't benefit him.
Givng him a good therapist or just someone to work out his problems could possibly help. Even giving him a friend or a pet could lower his nerves, if that's the issue. I don't think he should just be put in prison to rot.
I agree I saw a video he filmed and said he couldn't wait to this and he was going to be all over the news. He could care less. He should maybe face the death penalty because he also enjoyed killing others which is terrible. I also feel as he should get a thearpist or maybe provide him some medication for his mental well being.
I think that it depends on the situation whether or not the death penalty is appropriate. If someone kills another person on purpose they should be put to the death penalty, especially if they commit a mass shooting. I agree that his actions were very wrong and this incident should have never happened.
