In downtown Paris a man wielding what many eyewitnesses are saying to be a 10-11 inch knife. The crazed man initially attacked an innocent man and women near a canal. Najah, a witness of the event, watched it all go down while he was taking a walk. As the knife weilding man was fleeing many stander bys who were playing a game similar to bowling, called petanque, decided to take justice into their own hands. They started to chase him and pelted him with metal balls. As of this moment this incident is not being treated as a terror attack.
Do you think that this should be considered a terrorist attack? And why?
No I do not think it should be counted as a terrorist attack. I think this is just a man who is off his rocker from drugs.
Do you think you would have taken justice into your own hands and helped apprehend this guy? Explain.
I’d like to believe I would. Because if that was happening to me I would hope someone would apprehend the man.

Well done Jeremiah. I do think your should have defined what makes somethign a terrorsit attack as your audience may not know.
I dont think that this couple be a terrorist attack, I honestly think that this could have been a crazy man off his rocker from drugs of some type of tramatizing even in his past life that led him to his actions. Personally I would be scared to take things into my own hands, but if I had to I would take things into my own hands.
It depends on if the man claims to do it because of a more personal reason, or if it just did it for terror. Not exactly, first I would make sure someone called the cops, then maybe try to get him to stay put but I don't think I would chase him around throwing things at him.
I don't think this should be classified as a terrorist attack until we know details on why the man attacked people. This could've just been a man under the influence of drugs or alcohol, or just a crazed man wanting to do harm.
Unless the man was coming after me, no I don't believe I would. Not because I want him to kill other people, but rather cause I'd be to frightened to try and fight off an armed man. I know this seems selfish, but I honestly don't think I'd be much help in stopping someone with a knife.
I don't this should be considered a terrorist attack because it was only a small attack on few people. It didn't appear like he wanted to try and harm the whole country. I believe that the guy probably had a mental illness, or was possibly using drugs at the time. Since I have never witnessed anything like this, it's hard for me to say what I would do in that situation. I think I would pry be to scared to actually help stop the guy, but I would probably still try to help by calling the police or tending to the people involved.
No I do not consider this a terrorist attack because I would think that this incident would occur in more than just one area at that time. I think that I would have tried to help out because I would not just watch random people getting attacked.
I think that this is probably a terrorist attack because Europe had had so many migrants coming from the Middle East and North Africa, of course nobody can 100% tell until there has been investigation on the way that he espressed views to his friends or on social media. I would have definitely tried to attack this guy if I saw someone hacking people up with a knife on the street.

I agree that this shouldn't be considered a terrorist attack. I think this because I feel like he might have a mental illness, or might be having medical issues or something like that. I also think it could be the act behind some drugs. I have seen a lot of things like this happen where someone could do something because of a issue, something they did, or just the way there mind thinks and the way they act. I also think that if the man had more people that were stabbing people and multiple people getting stabbed, I would consider it a terrist attack, but since it was only one guy and stabbed a couple people, I think it is because of maybe a misbehavior or something to do with his mind and how he thinks.

He could've been mentally ill or on drugs, but I don't think it was a terrorist attack. I don't think I would be able to, I would probably be more focused on getting away and making sure people were safe.
