With all of these politics blinding us, we have forgotten the true question, "Pancakes or waffles," the question since the begining of time, yet no one has answered it.
Pancakes - What pancakes have going for them is; Toppings are easier to spread, pancakes are more convenient to stack, and pancakes flat shape makes it easier to get syrup on the plate.
When putting toppings on a pancake, you would spread it across so it can evenly coat the whole pancake. Whe you try and spread toppings on a waffle, it won't spread as easily. When stacking pancakes, you are able to stack more than if you had waffles because of their thiner surface. When you are left with the last couple of pieces of pancakes, it is much easier to colect the remaining syrup on the surface of the plate than if you had waffles.
Waffles - What waffles have going for them is; Their superior shape which helps them hold liquid toppings better, waffes are easier to evenly share, and waffle's are easier to make.
When you are puring syrup on pancakes, it drips off the sides and doesnt stay ontop of the pancake, but when you pour syrup on waffles it stays in the waffle. when you are sharing waffles, they are much easier to tear evenly than pankakes because of the lines splitting them in fourths, unless you are eating toaster waffles. Making pancakes is easy to mess up, while it is not easy to mess up making waffles.
Although pancakes and waffles have their flaws, I think pancakes win this one because their pros are much greater than waffles pros. I do like waffles more than pancakes, but the pros of the pancakes has convinced me that the theoretical pancake is better than the theoretical waffle.

So the issue I have with this topic is that it doesn't hit the requirements of having the story be based on either current events, social issues or US History. As I said in class on Monday, I just don't want to open the door to these types of topics.
I'd definetly have to go with waffles. I find pancakes dense and just kind of flat in flavor. Waffles are airy and even the ones you get frozen are phenomenal. Therefore, they're even easy in the morning if your in a rush. Sure, frozen pancakes are also available, but not as widely and they don't usually turn out so great and, again, are dense. My opinion: Waffles are just superior in general.
I personally like pancakes better because of the fluffy texture whereas waffles are too crispy for my liking. I dont think that there is a big diference in the taste of pancakes or waffels becuase they are pretty much the same batter just cooked differently.
I like waffles more. I just prefer the way that they hold the syrup and butter. It makes things easier when you are feeling lazy in the mornings. It works really well for a lunch and dinner meal as well. Waffles are just all around better meals than pancakes in the end.
I think that pancakes are by far more popular and better than waffles but I would like waffles more than pancakes because you can get pancakes all the time but you can't get waffles all of the time like you could pancakes. I like french toast over both of them because that is harder to get and make at home than pancakes or waffles.
I personally like pancakes better because I think waffles taste weird especially different brands of waffles have weird tastes and it's very unpleasant. Waffles also can be too hard sometimes if someone doesn't know how to properly cook them. Pancakes have a better taste and a better consistency.
I like pancakes better personally because waffles are a weird shape and it is unsettling. Pancakes are also easier to make and easier to know when they are finished cooking. with waffles if the waffle maker doesn't tell you when it is done then you'll undercook it or burn it and that is dumb.
I think it all really depends on the day on whether or not I like pancakes or waffles better. I'd probably choose a pancake over a waffle, just because it usually has more flavor, I like the softness a pancake has (that a waffle usually doesn't) and it's easier to deal with.
In general I like pancakes better because I think waffles are sometimes too hard and pancakes are usually light and fluffy. However, somedays I prefer waffles over pancakes. Pancakes are, in my opinion, better because their pros outweight their cons.
I think that waffles are better than pancakes, because you dont see ego comming out with frozen pancakes. Plus you can throw the waffles in the freezer and have ready in 1 minunte just by putting them in a toaster. Also I Think Waffles go better with powdered sugar, and you dont drive around seeing pancake houses you see wafflehouses
