On Monday night, there were two men that were arrested for driving by people and people's houses and lighting them up with paint balls. These two men drove down "77th Avenue in Glendale, Queens" where many buildings had blue paint all over them. Also, a man was walking with his son and was shot in the head by a paint ball. The two men had gone up and down that streets several times and had aimed/shot at 12 people. Many people who were shot said that it almost seemed like you really got shot by a real bullet because the paint ball sounds like a real gun, they said, and then the pain made it feel like the bullet punctured the skin. The two suspects ages are 18 and 22. They are in prison and due for a trial, but they have scared many people, and many people hope they learned their lesson.

1) If you were walking down the street and you heard something that sounded like a gun what would you do? And why would you do what you did?
If I would hear something like a gun I would run and try to take cover or just hide. I would do this so I would stay alive and can go home to my family.
2) Do you think these two men just thought that it would all be a joke and funny?why?
I feel like these two men would think it is a joke because it would scare some people and some people like when others get scared, so they probably didn't think anything of it.

I would take cover immediately and call the police. I'm sure they thought it was jokes and get a good scare. They should've thought of people that have PTSD from war or similar. One gunshot sound and the men and women near there that have PTSD will be back at war.

Hide, run, stop drop and lay on the ground! Not really sure I would do it because being in a situation thats not expected really boils down to last minute decisions. I think that people these days think its funny to scare people with things, when everyone is really happy and I think its wrong that they did this.
I understand what you are saying because you can say that you are going to do this but once the situation comes around you might not really do what you said you are going to do earlier. Some things are funny when making someone scream or scare them but when its like this it could be serious.
I would try to get somewhere else fast. Maybe to my car and then just drive home or somewhere else. I would do this because I would think it's a real gun from the sound. Personally, I think they thought it was a joke. I understand joking around and paint balling some houses but doing that to people takes it to a whole new level.
I would freak out and panic because I would have no idea what was going on and I would've thought it was an actual gun. I would run away as fast as I could and make sure everyone was okay and safe. They probably thought it would be fun to drive around and shoot people with a paintball gun and not realize the damage they would cause.
I would try to stay as safe as possible by taking cover or running away from the scene. I might also call the cops because I would be frightened. I would do this for my own safety and so that I could stay alive. Yes I think that the men thought this would be a joke. I think they did this because they thought it would be "fun" to scare people although to everyone else it is not funny or a joke.
Yes bro I would totally call the cops too because that is the smart thing to do. Also, it might help keep other people safe in the situation because they won't get shot either. I also agree with how you think they would think its funny but it isn't in this situation. I don't know if I would run or not though.
