Pacific Tensions on the Rise

By 2017, the US plans to send 2 additional ballistic missile defense destroyers to Japan in an effort to counter North Korea's recent missile and nuclear tests. US vs. North Korea isn't the only heated issue in the Pacific, though, as Japan and China are still at odds with territorial claims. We are currently supporting Japan under a mutual defense treaty and plan to send surveillance drones to help the Japanese keep an eye over remote territories.

Do you think the US is doing the right thing by sending military equipment to Japan? What do you think the US should/shouldn't do regarding these Pacific turmoils?
