A man named Cesar Sayoc is currently in custody for being suspected of being involved with the 12 mail bombs sent to famous democrats and non-Trump supporters. Sayoc was found in Florida earlier Friday morning. The bombs were classified as pipe bombs, and they had been sent all over the country. On Monday the first bomb was found at the home of George Soros, then on Tuesday the second pipe bomb had been sent to Bill and Hillary Clinton which was found by the secret service. On the 24th of October 4 bombs were sent to individuals including Barack Obama, CNN which was addressed to John Brennan, Debbie Wasserman Schultz including Eric Holder, and the last two sent on Wednesday was sent to Maxin Waters. There were three sent on Thursday, and two found on Friday.
Question 1:
Do you think these bombs were meant to scare people, and if so why?
Opinion: I think these were meant to scare people and send some time of message, but it’s unbelievable with all the horrible things happening this just adds to the pile. I don’t understand why someone would want to scare people of things like this happening.
Question 2:
What would you do if you were close to someone that received one of the twelve pipe bombs?
Opinion: I would honestly call the FBI and leave the country for a while or go somewhere where nobody would know where I am at.

I think it was a message to these people and their supporters. It was definitely a scare tactic. I would be pretty scared. A pipe bomb showing up at the door of a close relative would be very scary.
I think the bombs were definitly mean't to scare people. Especially the people the he didn't care about or like as much. I think he could have also sent them because he was angry with them about what they believe or liked. If someone I was close to received one the the pipe bombs I would be very worried and scared for them. I would do the best thing I could to keep them safe as well. I would also be thankful if they were not injuried by the bomb.
I wonder why on earth someone thought it was ok to do this because its not. Something must of pushed him so over the edge that he just felt he needed to place these bombs targeting all kinds of people. I defintly agree with you on everything.
I think it was to show them that they don't have enough power as they think. Because if they can do this just think about what they have planned. I would be scared and probly distance myself from them just until the heats off. Call the cops if they havent already..
I think this type of stuff is way to scary to be happening in America. We were once known as the great America, but now its more scary than anything. Obviously call the officals as they are smarter and are trained in this sort of thing. Happy Halloween BTW!
I think that they were meant to scare people, and I agree with you that this just adds to the pile of horrible things happening and it is hard to understand why someone would do something this extreme to scare someone. I would want to figure out who sent it and make sure I am protected.
I wonder if they were truly meant to scare people, or just harm people. I guess we will never know the real anwser to that question. Im just glad that all of the bombs were found(that we know of) and everyone is safe.
I think that the bombs were sent to scare people. I think they were to let the people know something. I don't know what the worl is coming down to now these days. I would do what everyone else would do, figure out who sent this.
