One of FBI's Most Wanted Caught!

Terry A.D. Strickland was staying in his home with his 18-month old daughter in Milwaukee. Strickland was taken into custody in El Paso, Texas and was immediately put into Jail. Police were able to put him in a police car after and awful fight. On July 17 Strickland was in a group rumble outside a house when it broke out and Terry went inside with a gun and successfully shot two people. Him and other victim left the scene in a black SUV leaving his 18 month old kid was also left in the house in Milwaukee. Terry was not found until this week. Strickland was added to the top 10 list these last two months and was put on high alert everywhere. Terry's 18 month old kid was also left in the house in Milwaukee.

Questions:

Do you think he should be sentenced the death penalty? Why or why not?

Why do you think it took so long for the FBI to find him?

My Response:

I personally think Terry should be put to the death penalty because he had an outrageous move which then got people killed. He should not of killed them and should not face extreme consequences until hopefully his death penalty is sentenced. I believe that it took so long because they FBI is not the best at tracking with all their security cameras on most buildings.

  • Great summary bit you only commented once.

  • I think he should be sentenced to death because he got someone killed. Because they had to track him and be able to take him out without him or them harming any innocent people.

  • I don't think that the death penalty is the right way to set an end to a criminal like that, he should be sentenced for life but in my opinion no one should be put to death. I don't like the death penalty because in my opinion we are all human beings who should not play God by killing each other. He did some horrible things for sure but in the end God is the one who is going to judge him, we are not supposed to do that. By killing a killer, don't you become one? Killing someone who is not worth that, makes us inhuman in my opinion.

It maybe took them so long because he might have hid in different places and he moved around so the FBI wasn't able to track him down that fast.

  • I don't know if the death penalty is the best. For some people it would be better to let them suffer in prison carrying the burden that they killed someone. I think it took them forever to find him because he went to a place they would least expect.

  • I don't think he should be sentenced. If they want him to be punished, he should at least have to serve life in jail. I think it took the FBI so long to find him because it's hard to catch someone who is always moving or good at hiding out.

  • I don't think he should be sentenced to death. One, it's' more expensive to kill him rather than keep him locked up for life, and two, he deserves to live the rest of his life in prison. Convicts like this have strategies for outrunning police and going incognito. I'm not surprised the FBI took forever to find him. They have a lot of people on their wanted lists, they can't spend all their time looking for one guy.

  • I believe he should be sentenced to that because he killed those people and was running away from it all. Because he was just always on the run, going from place to place so they couldn't find him.

  • I think he should be sentenced to the death penalty, because he killed to people and then fled. He also just left his daughter there. It probably took them so long to find him because he moved across the country and found a new place to hide. After people do bad things they just disappear and it is hard to find them once they do that.

  • I do think that he should be sentenced to the death penalty. What he did was wrong. He could have harmed a lot more people then just two. I think that it probably took so long because he was hiding. He most likely didn't leave that often so no one could see him.

  • I think he should be sentenced to the death penalty because he killed two people. That is a terrible thing to do and he doesn't deserve to live since he took two other people's lives for no reason. I think maybe it took so long to find him because maybe they had a hard time tracking him down or had other more important criminals to find first.
