Oldest Person dies at 114

The World's current oldest person died November 4, 2010 at app. 3am. in Caribbean island of St. Barthelemy. Eugenie Blanchard, who friends called "Sweets" because of her kindness, died at around 3 a.m. at Bruyn Hospital, where she had lived in the geriatric ward since 1980. Her cousin stated that even though she couldn't speak she was still in good health.

I personally wouldn't wanna live that old, I love everyone of my family and that would stink to live that old and everyone else around you die. But to experience so many things over that long of a time period would be amazing.

Thats sad that she died but i guess everyone will have to die sometime. Now she's in heaven watching over her family.

Thats so cool. My opinion though is i would rather die like when i got to the point in my life where i could hardly walk, talk, stuff like that. I dont really wanna die young but not super old either.

Go her... But i would not like to live that long... I mean how would want to live for that long us just have to pay for many more things.. It would be easier to just die..................

I definitely want to live that old. Seeing the world change over the time span of 100 years isn't something everyone gets to see. She's lucky to have lived that long.

i would never want to live that long. to be without the ones i love for anytime would be too much. plus, what joy are you going to find here if you have no one to share it with.. sad.

Aw that's sad. I don't know if I would want to live that old either... I can't even see myself living past 16. I don't know what I'd do with that many extra years
