Offutt's open house and air show has been held annually since 1972. The summer show was canceled from budget and expenses.
A lot of people attend the air show, and are waiting for the next date to be set.

Aww that's too bad! I know a lot of people look forward to the air show. Hopefully they can have it next year.
It stinks that they had to cancel the air show when so many people look forward to it. It's been around for such a long time that I'm sure many people are disappointed. They could try to have a fundraiser to get the money they need to have for the air show since so many people come to watch!
Something like this costs a lot of money, and it is nice of people to donate their time, but having it every year may be a little much. I would set if for every other year or something so you can have enough time to raise money and prepare! That's just my thought. It is a bummer for those who were excited though.
Thats a bummber because many people are very entertained with the show. But if they dont have the money then i agree with them not doing it because we dont need to be spending money on stuff that doesn't necesarily matter.
ahhh. since 1972?!?! thats crazy! i think they should hold a fundraiser now to get money and hold it in the summer like there usual time. if a lot of people come. they shouldnt have a big problem with the money then? right?
wow..that is really sad. money is starting to really be an issue for somethings.
It's to bad something like this had to go, but the people who put this on, can't spend money they don't have. I'm glad that it lasted so long. I don't think there will be another date set for now...until they get more money to do a show like this.
